We’ve been hanging around Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, Downtown Disney, and the rest of the Disneyland Resort to see what’s been happening and what’s new. So let’s get on to some updates!

Rainbow Dome Cake
Most recently, Disney dropped gender-specific pronouns from its pre-fireworks announcements. The company also embraces Pride Month (and releases a TON of rainbow merchandise AND snacks in honor of it). Now, Disneyland has embraced diversity with mannequins!

There was a long wait for people purchasing Disneyland’s Magic Key passes, but if you got through you may have been able to check out the new Magic Key Portal, where Disneyland lists a lot of new perks for Magic Key holders. The Halloween season will kick off at the Disneyland Resort on September 3rd, and Disney California Adventure’s after-hours event Oogie Boogie Bash will begin on September 9th! That’s right, we’re just a couple of weeks away from the Happiest Place on Earth transforming into the Spookiest Place on Earth!

We’re just a couple of weeks away from the start of Oogie Boogie Bash in Disney California Adventure! This after-hours ticketed event is currently sold out, but those lucky enough to have grabbed a ticket are in for a frightfully fun night of entertainment, food, and some of our favorite Disney villains (including Agatha from WandaVision!).

A lot is changing at Disneyland Resort, with the new Magic Key passes for sale, restaurants reopening, and new shops coming to Downtown Disney. Now the Princess Breakfast Adventures has reopened in Napa Rose, and it’s a bit different from the past, so we’re giving you a first look into our experience today.

There’s a bit of a wait, but as of today, Disneyland’s Magic Key passes are on sale. We decided to take a look at the Magic Key Access Calendar for blockout dates and park reservation availability so you can have an idea of what each Magic Key grants guests. Maybe you’re waiting to purchase or just trying to decide which Magic Key is right for you, so take a look!
Recently, Disney announced that Disneyland Annual Passes are coming back in a new form, the Disneyland Magic Key! The new program has a multi-tiered price point and will offer a similar service as the old Annual Pass.
