There are very few more iconic things to do at Disney World than watch the nighttime fireworks explode over Cinderella Castle. For over 55 years, this tableau has come to define the Disney World experience for generations to come, but for 12 nights in November, the fireworks are CANCELED!

Whether you’re watching Luminous — the Symphony of Us in EPCOT, Fantasmic and Wonderful World of Animation in Hollywood Studios, or Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom, you’ll be treated to a display of Disney music and pyrotechnic prowess, usually topped with some general nostalgia and a heartwarming storyline. Disney World Testing Fireworks Ahead of Happily Ever After Return

We’re gearing up for some big changes soon in Disney World!

We’ve got the grand opening of TRON Lightcycle / Run on April 4th, but before that happens, two major fireworks shows are ending their run at Disney World — Harmonious and Disney Enchantment. Disney Enchantment is being replaced by its predecessor, Happily Ever After, and it looks like Disney is getting ready for the return of the show.

Best Places to Watch Fireworks in Magic Kingdom

We’re always scoping out great viewing locations for fireworks at Walt Disney World. When your day ends in the Magic Kingdom, it’s a fan tradition to stay for the magical fireworks.

Playing until April 2, 2023, Disney Enchantment is a fireworks and projection show that debuted as part of the 50th Anniversary celebration. While the show focuses on the park’s centerpiece — Cinderella Castle, the projections actually go ALL the way down Main Street, U.S.A.). We can’t wait for Happily Ever After to return to Magic Kingdom on April 3, 2023 with all-new projections!

It’s a great display!

We want to share some of our favorite fireworks spots at Magic Kingdom. After all, at the end of a Magic Kingdom day you just might be too tired to strategize, and that’s why we encourage you to plan ahead.
