Although summer has been relatively quiet in Disney World, that doesn’t mean there hasn’t been a lot of stuff going on.

We did get to check out the new Caramel Flight from Karamell-Küche in EPCOT, after all. Speaking of EPCOT, a restaurant temporarily closed there, too! We also FINALLY got a look at ALL the menus for the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival. Meanwhile, Disney World restaurant menus saw some changes, so let’s see what’s different now!
We’ve got some great news for Disney golf fans!
Disney’s Palm & Magnolia Golf Course
Earlier this year, Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course closed for a lengthy refurbishment. Then in June, Disney revealed what the new golf course would look like when it was done. We didn’t know when that would be, but now Disney has announced when the golf course will be reopening!
Disney World vacations involve a LOT of planning. You need to get park tickets and park pass reservations, decide the best way to travel to the parks, make dining reservations, and choose a hotel. And even once you’ve done all that, you’re STILL not finished!
It takes a lot of planning to get here!
One of the most fun parts about visiting Disney World is going on rides and visiting the various attractions throughout the parks. So it can be very disappointing if you arrive at a certain attraction only to find out that it’s CLOSED. While the parks are where most people are focused during their vacation, there’s actually MUCH more to do in Disney World than ride rides and eat snacks (though we could do that all day).

For example, did you know that Disney World is actually home to FULL-SIZED golf courses? We’re talking the full 18 holes! Adding a visit to the golf course during your trip can be a great way to take a break from the parks and add a little bit of Disney to an activity that you enjoy at home. But, soon one golf course will be getting some TLC resulting in a LONG closure!
