You can buy a whole meal off of McDonald’s dollar menu sometimes for less than it’ll cost you to buy a box of popcorn. And Disney’s prices are only getting steeper. Recently, we saw literally HUNDREDS of price increases hit a whole bunch of items including popcorn buckets, DOLE Whips, and more. But what do price increases have to do with the Disney Dining Plan? Well, here’s what we’ve seen.

We saw literally HUNDREDS of price increases hit items at restaurants, lounges, and snack stands throughout Disney World’s theme parks, water parks, resort hotels, and more. Some of the increases were pretty small — only a matter of a few cents — but others were larger, in amounts of $1, $2, or even $3. They might seem small at first, but these increased costs can add up over a trip. There are a LOT of price increases to sort through though. Which price increases do you REALLY need to know about? We’re still getting updates from Disney World with online menus, so we’ll likely learn more information throughout the day, but we’re already seeing some of these changes in effect in the parks. And now, we can add popcorn buckets and refills to that list.

Want to hear something mind-blowing 🤯? When the Magic Kingdom first opened in Florida, park tickets were cheaper than a Starbucks drink is today! Obviously, the cost of living has increased over time, but does anyone else wish prices could just stay still for a minute?! In Disney World, we’ve noticed price increases all over the parks and resorts lately.

Next time you’re in Disney World and you’re craving an iced coffee from Starbucks, you might notice that your bill is a little higher than it used to be. That’s right, we noticed a few price increases just arrived at the Starbucks locations in the Disney parks.
