Recently, the costs of the lightsaber experience at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, MagicBands, and even a meal at Chefs de France have gone up. And now, another restaurant in EPCOT’s France Pavilion is seeing its prices change.

We started the year with a FULL year’s worth of announcements in January alone, but there was still LOTS of Disney news in February and March. April was certainly no exception, with the long-awaited reopening of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, and many transformations happening around the parks! And we’ve only seen more news released since then. Without further ado, let’s take a look at 16 new things that have happened in Disney World recently or are set to happen soon!

That includes changes to safety procedures, closures, and even the color of cocktails! And of course, we’re keeping an eye on any price changes, too. So when we noticed a price increase on a Disney World dessert, we just had to let ya know!
One area we try to cover a lot of ground on is merchandise: you know it, you love it, you probably buy a good amount of it on your Disney trips.

Sometimes, merchandise that has been around for a while might get a refresh, or might undergo a price increase. It’s not uncommon, but we noticed recently that a certain Disney item has been doing quite a bit of flip-flopping.
We were reunited with a BELOVED snack today.
Spring Roll Cart
If you’ve been around DFB for a while, you know we love to sing the praises of the Spring Roll Cart in Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland. It’s been closed for a few months, so you can imagine our delight when it reopened today. BUT, everything was not as perfect as it seemed.
Disney World ticket pricing can be a little confusing.

This morning, Disney World released 2022 vacation packages. We noticed that the Disney Park Pass are available for booking into early 2023 and the Disney Dining Plan is still unavailable. On top of this, we DID see some change to day-to-day ticket prices. Wait, is Disney World raising ticket prices in 2022!?
We’ll often see Disney raise prices in the theme parks. Sometimes, the increases are a few cents added to a Mickey pretzel, and other times, it’s a large increase in ticket prices. We can usually predict that Disney will increase prices at some point during the year. However, it’s no secret that this year has been anything BUT predictable!

Walt Disney World had big plans in the making like the huge EPCOT overhaul including attractions, expansions, and an entirely new look. Many of these projects are pushing forward while others were suspended indefinitely. With all the changes, can we safely assume what items will increase in price and when?
