Remember this summer when we broke the news about these enormous milkshake-y beauties from Walt Disney World’s Beaches & Cream?
Well hold onto your jingle bells and your Santa hat because a Beaches & Cream milkshake has gone full-on Christmas!
When we brought you to the grand opening of Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff Confectionery on Pixar Pier earlier this year, one element of the colorful candy shop was missing: Bing Bong himself! So they draped a sheet over an elephant nose and it was really weird.
But now the wait is (finally!) over! Bing Bong is in the building!
Treats, treats, everywhere!
We’re loving the epic food crawls we’re embarking upon on BOTH coasts, with Disneyland, California Adventure Park, and Walt Disney World packed from kiosk to food booth and from counter service to table service with seasonal bites and beverages.
And because it’s Disney, you know some krispy treats had to get in on the action! At Disneyland, we found these aaa-dorable Minnie and Mickey krispies decorated to resemble sweet gingerbread cookies.
We’re loving the abundant (and we mean abundant — three snack checklists worth!) holiday eats and drinks at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. We found the brand new Sugar Plum Churro at the snack cart by Haunted Mansion!
Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs
is packed wall-to-wall with terrific places to grab a meal, but sometimes, even with all the new choices, you might want to enjoy an old favorite. For us, Earl of Sandwich has been a consistently tasty spot to pick up a quick service sandwich and sides. And at a recent media event, we were excited to revisit two holiday favorites and a brand new holiday offering!
You know the holiday eats are a big deal with the Earl is in the house — holding his beloved Holiday Turkey Sandwich.
Since this was a holiday event, you’ll want to know how to treat yourself even while buying a little somethin’ for someone else. At Earl of Sandwich this holiday season, if you purchase a $25 gift card, you’ll get a $5 holiday reward card, too! [Read more…]
Aside from serving up some seriously sweet treats like Frosting Shots and Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches, Sprinkles Cupcakes is the go-to spot for, well, cupcakes in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World and at Downtown Disney at Disneyland.
And one thing we love about Sprinkles is that there is always something new and creative in the cupcake case.
We bid a sad kwaherini to our beloved Peanut Butter Brownie at the Mara at Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom Lodge this summer, but we’re thrilled to say: it’s back! But things aren’t precisely as they were. The original Peanut Butter Brownie was a dense chocolate brownie completely covered in creamy peanut butter frosting.
The Salt and Straw ice cream moment we’ve all been waiting for at Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney is coming soon!
Salt & Straw, which announced it was opening a Downtown Disney location way back in April, will throw open its doors very soon, welcoming all who love small-batch ice cream in fabulously unique flavors like Honey Lavender and Black Olive Brittle & Goat Cheese. [Read more…]
, located in Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs and in Disneyland Resort’s Downtown Disney as well as other locations all over the country, has been known to use cupcakes as a vehicle to celebrate lots of occasions, from holidays to pride month to anniversaries. And now the cupcake palace has designed a tasty cupcake to commemorate breast cancer awareness month!
It’s that time of the year: pumpkin has firmly infiltrated all aspects of dining at Walt Disney World from pumpkin spice beverages to snacks and sweets (including this fabulous Pumpkin Spice Beignet at Port Orleans!).
And in Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs, a pop-up bar in the Town Center neighborhood is serving Pumpkin-Filled Churros!
The Town Center Pop Up Bar was primarily a beverage cart until the recent additions of churros and pretzels. [Read more…]
