Disney announced the other day that ticket pricing would be changing for the parks, along with a few other changes like Annual Pass prices. And now, the day is finally here — Park Hoppers just got a price change for Disney World.

Genie+ was introduced in Disney World over a year ago, and since then, we’ve learned a LOT about the system that replaced FastPass in the parks.
Genie+ is a paid service that allows you to make reservations for the Lightning Lanes of various rides around the parks. The Lightning Lanes work how the FastPass lanes used to, letting you skip the standby line and majorly cutting down on your wait times. When Genie+ was first introduced, it was $15 per day, per person, but Disney recently switched over to surge pricing, which means the price can vary depending on demand. The service reached its HIGHEST price to date a couple of days ago, and the cost remains high for Thanksgiving Day.
