Disneyland Hotel is reopening on July 2nd!
As Disneyland continues its phased reopening, we’re excited to visit this classic hotel once again. Not to mention, there will be quite a few updates to it when we return! But if you’re like us, you’re probably wondering what FOOD will be up for grabs. And luckily, we’ve got the answer!
NOTE: As of this writing, several of the dining locations listed are currently unavailable and have yet to reopen. Even though it’s been quite some time since Disney World closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are still lots of things around the resort that have remained closed.
Between the rides, restaurants, and resorts, there are a lot of locations that have yet to welcome guests again. Here’s a quick look at everything that still hasn’t opened in Disney World.

We may not be able to visit Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto or Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace right now, but Trader Sam’s fans HAVE been treated to quite a few new merchandise items over the past few months.
We’ve spotted a Trader Sam’s purse, a Trader Sam’s nautilus tiki bowl set, and MORE. Today, we spotted ANOTHER new Trader Sam’s item, and much like the others, this one was selling out FAST!
ALOHA from BouTiki in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! We’ve found some rather unique offerings at the Polynesian’s primary merchandise shop over the past several months.
In particular, we’ve happened upon some Trader Sam’s goodies — like a Nautilus Chips and Dip set! — while Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto and the Tiki Terrace remain temporarily closed. And today we’ve got another truly unique find for you… [Read more…]
Some of the bars and restaurants in Disney World are still currently closed, including Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto and its outdoor counterpart, Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace.
In addition to the incredible tropical concoctions Trader Sam’s is known for, this spot has also earned a dedicated following thanks to the unique souvenir glasses and tiki mugs several of the drinks are served in. And if you’re missing those gorgeous take-home tiki mugs, we have some great news for you!

We recently took a stroll around the Polynesian, Contemporary, and Grand Floridian Resorts to see what’s new!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has had all kinds of fun and unique merchandise available lately, like those delicious shortbread cookies and some adorable Duffy and Olu Mel items!
Today we spotted even more cool, NEW merchandise themed to Trader Sam’s, but it’s selling out quick so you’ll definitely want to head there quickly if you want to check it out!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is getting ready to undergo some refurbishment, and we can’t wait to see one of the new Moana-inspired rooms in the future!
But, until then, we’re glad that we can still stop by this resort to grab a sweet Dole Whip or some fun merchandise. Recently, we heard a new, special item had made its way to the Polynesian, so we made our way over there to see if we could find it!
