Whether you choose to sample some Coca-Cola flavors from around the world (try the Beverly — we dare you!), grab a refreshing frozen mint tea in Morocco, or sip on margaritas in Mexico, there are plenty of beverages to help you cool down on a hot day. There’s also Cool Wash, which offers up a variety of slushes, but this iconic drink spot just got a massive change!
There is just SO much going on at EPCOT.

If you’ve been recently, you’ll know that a lot of construction is still underway for the big EPCOT transformation, including work on the upcoming Moana attraction. Also, EPCOT is celebrating its 40th anniversary, which is also a HUGE deal. PLUS the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is still going on. But what else is new in EPCOT? Let’s find out!

We’ve done our best to keep you prepared for rainy days, days when the parks are flooding, and hot weather. But one thing you may not be thinking about is cold weather. Now you may think, “DFB, does it REALLY get cold in Disney World?” Well, it might not snow (only SNOAP here), but we will answer that “yes, it DOES get cold in Disney World.”
It’s officially happening! Disney World’s Fantasmic! has a reopening date!

The show has been closed since 2020, although we’ve seen some construction progress around the amphitheater in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We’re excited that some new things are coming to the show, too. But we’re even more excited because Fantasmic! dining packages are also returning!
There has been a LOT of big news about Disney World restaurants this past week!
Toy Story Land
First, we saw a TON of price increases at restaurants, but at the same time, Monsieur Paul finally reopened, AND we got a reopening date for Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, both in EPCOT. Now, we’ve got a little bit of a sneak peek at what some things in an upcoming restaurant will look like!

We’ve been watching the construction in this area for a WHILE and saw when rehearsals started, but the big news is that we finally have a reopening date for the nighttime spectacular at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Disney recently announced that the show would return in November of 2022 and it’s almost time to see the revamped version of the show.
We talk about delicious food inside the Disney World parks all the time, but that’s not the only place you can find tasty eats in Disney World.

Sure, there are some great options in the parks, from Dole Whips to hot dogs to cheeseburger springs rolls. But, there’s also a TON of great food at the Disney World hotels! So, we’re going to tell you about the places to eat that are worth leaving the theme parks for in Disney World.

Although it’s still technically spooky season, Disney World is already looking ahead to the holidays.

The first holiday merchandise has shown up in the parks, dining and dessert party reservations for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are now available, and we’re gearing up for EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays. We’re starting to see park pass reservations disappear for November and Christmas Day, and now another big day in Magic Kingdom and EPCOT has officially sold out.
EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival has been going on since July in Disney World, and we’ve had fun trying out all of the exciting foods, enjoying the entertainment, and checking out the merch.
Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resorts
The festival will end on November 19th, so you have a little more time to try everything out. But, if you want to check out a festival without having to buy a park ticket, you can also attend the Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic at Disney World! This takes place at The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels near EPCOT on Friday, November 11th, and Saturday, November 12th, 2022. Tickets are available now, and we just found out what’s going to be on the menu!
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is reopening soon in EPCOT!

This character dining spot will reopen on November 4th, 2022, and reservations open on October 24th. But ahead of its reopening, we’ve spotted some changes made to the menus for this restaurant. Let’s go through them all here!
