Monday is going to be VERY busy in Disney World.
Now, we’ve seen some crowds in Disney World recently, especially for Spring Break (which is always a little chaotic), and we expect to see crowds for the next big holiday, July 4th. However, a holiday you may NOT know about is coming up on Monday, May 4th, and it means you’ll see a lot of folks heading to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Tomorrow is the day we’ve been waiting for, and we can’t believe it’s finally here!
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Magic Kingdom closed in January 2025 for a massive refurbishment, and tomorrow it FINALLY reopens to the public! A year and a half is a long time to be closed, we know, but from what Disney has said, it sounds like the wait should be worth it.
We are in the era of changes at Disney World, and it continues today with a permanent store closure at Disney Springs.

Disney Springs!
On March 29th of this year, Disney Springs saw the permanent closure of the women’s apparel store, Francesca’s. Now, another clothing store was hit with a permanent closure at the Disney shopping and dining district, and it’s not ending there!
In just a few days, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Magic Kingdom is scheduled to finally reopen after over a year of being closed to get a MASSIVE update.
We have literally been counting down the days until we could take a ride on the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness, and it’s almost here! Ahead of its reopening, construction walls are FINALLY starting to come down from around the ride, and today, we finally got a good look at the ride’s entrance for the first time since construction on it started. YES!
Disney World’s V.I.Passholder Days have officially arrived!
This special event runs through July 31st and features a ton of new and extra perks for Disney World Annual Passholders. Now, we’ve been in EPCOT checking out some of these perks. We’ve already picked up our brand new Annual Passholder magnet, and we’re ready to take advantage of some HUGE increased discounts. Now, we’re also ready to check out an exclusive new meet and greet JUST for Passholders. So let’s go!
The time that Disney World Annual Passholders have been waiting has finally arrived! V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days has officially begun, and we’ve already gotten started with the perks.

New Annual Passholder popcorn bucket!
The summer is bringing tons of exclusive perks to Disney World for Annual Passholders, including new hotel discounts, dining discounts, and more. Any Annual Passholders out there a fan of Disney popcorn? Well, there’s a new popcorn bucket available at the park right now, exclusively for YOU!
You know, being a Disney World Annual Passholder can be really nice. Not only do we get to visit the theme parks on a regular basis, but we also get discounts on merchandise and food, plus access to lounges, exclusive merchandise, exclusive food and drinks, and more.
However, one of the BEST perks is the free Annual Passholder Magnets that get released several times throughout the year. Well, the NEWEST Annual Passholder Magnet has arrived, and it’s taking us straight to infinity and beyond!
Okay, admit it…who’s ready to fast forward through summer in Disney World and jump straight into fall? We certainly won’t judge ‘ya for it. That’s because fall brings Halloween season, and, honestly, it’s one of our favorite times to be in Disney World.
First, you get all the cool Halloween decorations and Halloween merchandise (we want one of EVERYTHING, please!). Then you’ve got the AMAZING fall and Halloween snacks to look forward to (and pumpkin spice!), along with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Speaking of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Disney World just dropped some big announcements for Halloween this year, and we’re going to go through every single one.
When it comes to dining at Disney World hotels, you’ve got a LOT of options, including food courts, quick service restaurants, and table service restaurants.
But what if you’re staying at a hotel not owned by Disney, but still located in Disney World? Well, if you’re staying at the Renaissance Orlando Hotel & Spa, a Disney Springs area hotel, you have some good options, too, including American Kitchen Bar & Grill. We were recently invited to dine at this restaurant, so we’re here to tell you what we ate, drank, and thought!
