A lot has changed at Disney World since the reopening — character cavalcades have replaced parades, socially distanced character interactions have replaced traditional character meet and greets, and nighttime fireworks and shows have been temporarily suspended.

Some special events, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, were also canceled last year. But, things have already been changing again in 2021 — there’s increased vaccine distribution, changing mask rules, and more. With that in mind, it should come as no surprise that many attractions throughout the Disney theme parks — even some of the most iconic ones — have undergone some pretty significant changes over time.
Disney World tends to be a spring break destination, and this year is no different.
Orlando Airport
We’ve seen Park Pass Reservations fill up a LOT in the month of March, meaning Disney World will look pretty busy in the coming weeks. Most people that fly to Disney World go through the Orlando International Airport, and it looks like the airport is expecting a major travel increase for spring break.
Harmonious, EPCOT’s upcoming nighttime show, has been making huge progress lately!
Harmonious Barges
We knew we were getting closer to seeing the show when the first and second barges came out onto World Showcase Lagoon, but now the six-story tall centerpiece barge is on full display. And tonight we noticed something pretty awesome about the barges out on the water!

Disney’s Old Key West Resort
Just a bit ago we were celebrating Valentine’s Day in the parks, but St. Patrick’s Day season is in full swing with new drinks and treats. But, we found a new drink in Disney World that is taking us ALLLL the way back to Halloween!
Disney Cruise Line has not set sail since the beginning of March in 2020, prior to the shutdowns from the global pandemic.
Disney Cruise Line
Disney cruises were cancelled in mid-March last year and have continued to be cancelled. Now, some passengers who sailed on a Disney Cruise before the closures are suing Disney for allegedly contracting COVID-19 while on board.
