Now, we have a date for the second earnings call of the year.
Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Bill (what critics call the “Don’t Say Gay” bill) has prompted a number of responses from Disney, former Disney executives, and others.

Most recently, the Bill was passed into law and Disney issued a statement in response, indicating that the Bill should never have been passed or signed into law and that its goal would be for the law to be repealed or struck down. Disney has also said that they are creating a task force to develop strategies to be a more positive force for the LGBT community, and “new content for children and family” will be a large part of the focus of this task force. Recently, protests were held in front of Disney’s corporate headquarters in response to some of Disney’s recent statements and actions.

Although it’s been nearly two years since Disney World closed and reopened, we’re still waiting for some restaurants at Disney World to reopen, too.

Disney has announced that several restaurants will be opening soon, though, including Victoria & Albert’s, the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue, and Spyglass Grill. We even have a reopening date for Spyglass Grill, and ahead of that reopening, its breakfast menu has changed.
You can get really busy with rides, food, shopping, and entertainment when you’re in Disney World, but you shouldn’t miss out on meeting characters while you’re in the parks!

Character meet and greets have been back in a modified way for a while, and soon, they’ll be going back to how they were before the shutdowns in 2020. This means you’ll be able to hug Mickey again and get autographs from Pluto! You’ll also be able to stand next to characters for photos, so you’ll probably want to grab some good pics, and we’re here to help you out when it comes to planning!
If you’ve ever taken the time to REALLY explore the Mitsukoshi Department Store in EPCOT’s Japan pavilion, you’ve probably noticed some very unique souvenirs.

The HUGE store has pretty much everything you could possibly imagine, and it’s the place to go for interesting finds like video game-themed merchandise, animal face masks, and even an inflatable vase. It also has a wide assortment of Japanese candy, including Pocky and unique Kit Kat flavors. If you’ve ever sampled some of the outside-the-box Kit Kats there, you’re going to LOVE the newest Kit Kat on the market!

For the past several weeks, Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Bill (now law) and Disney’s responses to it have garnered a great amount of attention in the news. From Disney’s initial response to its most recent statement on the Bill’s passage into law, there has been a great amount of debate and controversy surrounding the law and Disney’s response to it. Now, looking to the future of Disney’s official responses to major events, Disney has decided to hire an individual with experience in the political field to take the helm as the Company’s lead spokesperson.
We may only be a few months into 2022, but plans for the 2023 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend are already underway!

Not long ago we learned that the dates for this weekend are January 4th to 8th, 2023, and now the official theme for the race has been announced! The DFB team has already been making plans to join the race because of the theme, and even some of us who aren’t runners want to join! We can’t resist a chance to travel back to the 1990s. 👀
You might think that going to Disney World every day would get old… .
This view NEVER gets old.
But the beauty of visiting Disney World is that we notice something new EVERY SINGLE DAY. When it comes to Magic Kingdom, in particular, there’s a new detail in the park to discover every time we visit, whether it be something new we discover in an attraction that we never noticed before, a new Hidden Mickey, or new food to try.
