February 11th is a BIG day — it’s when Taylor Swift is probably going to Las Vegas! 😂 OK, sorry, it also happens to be when the Super Bowl takes place, as the San Francisco 49ers take on the Kansas City Chiefs to compete for the Super Bowl LVII title.

It’s been a BIG week for Disney news!
Typhoon Lagoon
We learned just how the parks and more are doing during the recent earnings call and also found out details about sequels for Moana and Zootopia. On top of that, a brand new sports streaming service is in the works from Disney, and — we officially have a reopening date for Typhoon Lagoon (which means a closure date for Blizzard Beach, too!)
Disney has just shared some huge news…but one major thing was missing.

During the Q1 earnings call for fiscal year 2024, Disney shared updates about its theme park business, the financial status of its streaming business, and more. But interestingly there was something important they left OUT.

We also want you to know about both planned and unexpected ride closures. Tonight, one Magic Kingdom ride will be closing EARLY.
February 7th marked a big day of NEWS from The Walt Disney Company.

At the first earnings call of 2024, we learned a LOT about the Company’s financial gains and losses. While things in the parks are still a bit complicated, it seems that things within the streaming and film sector are on the up and up. Disney announced that ESPN would be partnering with Fox and Warner Bros., Zootopia 2, Toy Story 5, and Frozen 3 are each in the works and set to start rolling out in 2025 and beyond, and we’re even getting Moana 2 later this year!
Universal Orlando blew a lot of minds when it recently released new details about its upcoming third park, Epic Universe.

The new park will have a total of five new themed lands with five new restaurants and a TON of new rides. One of the new lands is an original concept called Celestial Park, which will act as the central hub that leads to the other four lands. This area will also feature two new rides, including a roller coaster called Starfall Racers. Well, Universal also teased that there would be a fun easter egg on that coaster!
This may be the blue skies and sunshine we’ve all been waiting for!

This new land will bring three new themed lands featuring Frozen, Tangled, and Peter Pan. There will be new attractions, rides, and restaurants.
