Great news, Star Wars fans!
Tomorrowland Terrace in Disneyland has recently transformed to celebrate the Star Wars Season of the Force debut at Disneyland.
The resort is currently celebrating all things Star Wars, and along with that celebration comes the grand opening of the Galactic Grill. Last week I was invited to the restaurant’s first service to try out some of the new offerings.
Located in the heart of Tomorrowland, this counter service restaurant is serving up Star Wars themed menu items with clever names and some clever ingredients, too! The menu offers both “Dark Side” and “Light Side” foods. You have to choose which side you’re up to trying!
We are back at Liberty Inn, the Quick Service spot in The American Adventure in Epcot!
If you’re strolling around World Showcase and are on the hunt for some perfectly patriotic eats, Liberty Inn is your place. For a long time, offerings were pretty basic at this Counter Service location, which primarily features expected fare like burgers, chicken breast nuggets, and salads.
While that still holds true in most regards, it’s worth noting that Liberty Inn made some strides late last year towards providing a couple of options that reflect a greater array of American cuisine, including a few regional dishes like a Lousiana-Style Shrimp dish as well as Maryland Crab Cakes.
However, the menu has changed up once again, so we returned to scope out the situation and see what’s new, what’s gone, and how things are shaping up.
So, let’s step back into everyone’s favorite Publick Dining Room, Liberty Inn! [Read more…]

They’re almost here..
. Hand-Crafted Candy Canes are on the way back to Disneyland for the season, and we’ve got the dates!
If you’re unfamiliar with the Disneyland Candy Canes, you’ve gotta check out this post about Heather’s awesome Disneyland candy cane adventure.
Once again, Candy Cane making will alternate between Candy Palace on Main Street USA in Disneyland and Trolley Treats over on Buena Vista Street at Disney California Adventure. [Read more…]
we broke the news that the Pork Shanks were officially taken off of the menu at Gaston’s Tavern in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.
We also told you we would keep you posted on the potential replacement. So we are here to tell you that now on the menu is the: Tavern Beef Stew!
Let’s see how it compares to the surely missed pork shanks… .
Gaston’s Tavern is of course a tribute to the villain from Beauty and the Beast and offers an atmosphere that stays true to its name. (There are definitely antlers in the decorating!)
Check out all the details of the restaurant here.

in Disney California Adventure serves up gourmet hot dogs and sausages that are just a little outside the box. So if you decide to stop in for a bite, bring your sense of adventure with you!
I love that Award Wieners often runs specials to coincide with whatever the Disney Movie du jour is. We’ve enjoyed some fun, film-inspired eats and drinks here, like the Teriyaki Street Dog and Coconut Milk Tea that honored Big Hero 6. And who could forget the Wizard Blizzard and Yellow Brick Roll, to mark the opening of Oz, the Great and Powerful? [Read more…]

I bet that after a long day battling crowds at Disney World, alcohol and ice cream sound pretty darn good. Put ’em TOGETHER, and you’ve got our #OnTheList item for today!!
This week’s #OnTheList item popped up a couple of years ago in Epcot’s France at L’Artisan des Glaces! An Ice Cream Martini? Yes, please! [Read more…]

In some parts of Walt Disney World, the holiday switch has been flipped, and Christmas and other winter celebrations have arrived! In Epcot though, the Food and Wine Festival is still going strong, so the holidays have been delayed just a bit.
But since World Showcase is one of my favorite spots to visit — and a definite must-do for those visiting WDW during the holiday season — I thought we’d take a look back at some of my favorite holiday offerings in some of the Pavilions. They’ll be arriving in the next couple of weeks, and I can’t wait!
Ready for a little “Pilgrim”-age to Hollywood Studios? Sorry — I had to.
We are back again with yet another delicious new disney cupcake over at DHS. Replacing the Halloween Carrot Cake Cupcake is the all new Thanksgiving Pumpkin cupcake!
These can, as usual, be found at many of the quick service spots around the park. Keep in mind that Rosie’s All American Cafe and Catalina Eddies’s are currently closed for renovations! We found this one at Fairfax Fare.
