In the park, we’re going to see if there are any updates with the food and snacks, merchandise, and construction. We found some of each today, so let’s see what’s new!
We are getting SO close to the first day of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, so you can imagine how busy things are at the parks right now!
We’ve been to Space 220!
Most recently, we’ve attended the opening of the highly-anticipated Space 220 Restaurant, tried an ice cream margarita, and had a spicy hot dog. And although we’ve seen a LOT of menu changes and updates over the past month, we’ve still got more to share with you this week.
Over the past few months, there has been a whole lot of construction progress around Disney World!
It’s Fall in Disney World!
We’ve seen brand new shops open, restaurants debut, and tons of attractions have received a fresh coat of paint leading up to the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary. And, now that we’re only a few weeks away from the big party, we’ve got even more to share — so, let’s dive right in!
Extra Theme Park Hours are coming back! Select Disney World guests will soon be able to enjoy both Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours in a new format.

Today, Disney World had a soft open of one of their new Extra Theme Park Hours programs!
Ever since Disney World reopened, guests have been required to book Park Pass Reservations for the park they wish to visit.
Disney’s Magic Kingdom
Although availability is changing all of the time, changing a Park Pass Reservation can be a total pain! When you want to change your Park Pass to a different park, you have to cancel your reservation and then make a new one — this leaves the risk of not having a reservation at all for busy days. But now, we wanted to point out that Disney World recently made a change to the way you modify Park Passes!
Whether you’re visiting Walt Disney World in the blazing heat of the summer, or you just want something to cool down after some intense rides, you can quench your thirst for something frosty with these favorite frozen drinks!

A LOT of new 50th Anniversary merchandise was released in Disney World recently.

We found new Minnie ears, a gorgeous Starbucks tumbler, and plenty of other goodies to celebrate Disney World’s 50th. But wait, there’s MORE! Some NEW Disney World x Starbucks souvenirs have arrived in the parks and we have a feeling these (like any of the other Starbucks x Disney items) could sell out quick!
The 50th Anniversary is set to bring all kinds of new things to Disney World.
We’re Going to Disney World!
One of the perks that will be available starting on October 1st is Early Theme Park Entry. This special benefit gives all guests staying at Disney World Resort hotels and select other hotels the chance to enter any Disney World theme park 30 minutes early on any day! As we noted above, this perk was set to begin on October 1st, but it looks like plans have changed.
We’re in the Disney World parks every day, so we keep an eye on any changes and updates that we spot.
