July is gearing up to be a HOT summer at Walt Disney World, with guests eager to experience new additions like the Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets, Soarin’ Across America, and Bluey’s Wild World. And throughout July, Disney World hotel guests have more of a chance to experience these new attractions through Extended Evening Hours!
Extended Evening Hours offer two extra hours to guests staying at Disney Deluxe Tier or Deluxe Villa resorts after the park closes to the general public.
While we are always excited about NEW experiences coming to Disney World, that often means saying goodbye to some old favorites.
Piston Peak and Villains Land have resulted in the closure of multiple offerings (some permanent, others temporary, such as the half-closed Walt Disney World Railroad track). Most recently, we saw Big Al’s close in Frontierland, and while Disney hasn’t officially said the closure is permanent, it’s looking like it is. And now, another iconic Frontierland spot has closed to make way for Magic Kingdom changes.
We always make sure to give you in-depth reviews of all the new snacks and drinks around Disney World.
But today, we are bringing you a review of a new Starbucks drink that has officially dropped for the summer to see if you need to try it or if you can stick to your regular order!
When we’re at Magic Kingdom, there’s nothing we love more than grabbing a sweet treat. With so many iconic dessert options like DOLE Whip, ice cream, and candy-infused popcorn, it’s super easy for amazing desserts to become a hidden gem!
This brand-new brownie is the perfect example of that. It’s only available at Cosmic Ray’s, which doesn’t typically offer desserts in the first place. We had to see if this sweet treat was worth the hype, and spoiler alert – it’s out of this world!
MAJOR changes are coming to a classic Disney Attraction, and many fans – – myself included – – are a bit torn on it.
Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress has been operating in one form or another since its debut at the 1964 New York World’s Fair. The animatronic stage show initially followed a family through the technological advancements of the early 1900s through the mid-1900s, ending in a 1960s-vision of the near future. Following the Fair, the show was moved to Disneyland for about a decade before being shipped back across the country to Walt Disney World.
Yes, we’ve been busy at Universal Kids Resort this week, but we’ve also been in Disney World learning about a new lounge, shop, and restaurant coming to Disney’s BoardWalk, as well as discovered a new favorite meal in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
We also noticed some changes happening at Disney World restaurants this week, so we’re going to give you all the latest updates.
While there wasn’t much news from inside the actual Disney World parks this past week, we did get TONS of news that will soon affect Disney Springs and Disney’s BoardWalk.
For months now, there have been empty buildings over at the BoardWalk, and while there have been permits filed, there has been no official announcement as to what is on the way. Until now, that is, because this past week, Disney revealed exactly what’s coming to the BoardWalk, and we also got some exciting updates about Disney Springs projects in the works!
Disney World had an annoying problem – if you wanted a crispy soda straight from the fountain, you’d have to go to a quick-service restaurant, often with long lines and no open tables. The popcorn carts and outdoor food stands didn’t have a soda machine for your soda fix – but that just massively changed!
When we heard that some popcorn carts and snack stands in Disney World started offering fountain drinks, we had to investigate. We learned that yes, the rumors are true, and yes, you can get a crispy fountain soda at select popcorn carts now! But then we wondered, which ones?
Every week, we report the average Disney World wait times in every park so that you can be prepared for your next trip to Orlando!
Disney World wait times have a reputation for being, well, unpredictable. Sure, we can look at past data to get an estimate of the crowd levels in Disney World, but you never know what may happen from year to year.
