Have you been wondering when Magic Kingdom’s new snack spot might open? We recently learned that Cool Ship has permanently closed in Tomorrowland, but it’s being replaced by a new snack stand called AstroFizz.

AstroFizz will be serving up popcorn, churros, and drinks, but Disney didn’t confirm an opening date for the new dining spot. HOWEVER, Disney did sort of already confirm when it would be open…and that is by November 7th. We’ll tell you why we think this.

Nothing beats walking out of the park as a brand-new Jedi, lightsaber in hand. While the experience of getting a new lightsaber is amazing, there are some issues that come up after you purchase it. You don’t know the struggle until you’ve had to carry an unwieldy lightsaber through the park for the rest of the day trying to figure out how to get it on rides. It can also be a hassle carrying it around in the airport (but, at least it qualifies as a carry-on item on the plane).

Now, Disney’s giving us even more details about one of the hottest items we spot at the party each year, and this year’s popcorn bucket design looks like a real winner to us!

Have you ever been personally victimized by a Disney World snack? No? Just us? Alright, well, buckle up, because we’re about to go on a (very short) JOURNEY, people. One of our FAVORITE snacks at Disney World had been the Buffalo Chicken Chips at Trilo-Bites in Animal Kingdom, so when Disney announced that Trilo-Bites would be closing with the rest of DinoLand, we were disappointed.

But then, Disney announced that these chips would be available at Eight Spoon Café after the closure, so of course, we were thrilled. And THEN, we got some intel that the Buffalo Chicken Chips had CHANGED, and not necessarily for the better. We investigated and found out that, sure enough, the chips were different, and we’re bringing you our full review below.
We would argue that Animal Kingdom is going through a bit of an identity crisis. It feels like they’re currently going through their middle school closet and throwing out anything that won’t look cool when they hit the high school hallways.

DinoLand U.S.A., unfortunately, didn’t make the high school cut and will be closing forever in February 2026. Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are making it into the freshman class because Zootopia: Better Zoogether opens on November 7th. Plus, those adorable animals are setting up a home in the park. To make room for the new wardrobe (by that we mean attractions), some of our favorite friends have moved locations!
