Animal Kingdom Lodge is a truly unique resort.
From the safari animals right outside the windows, to the fantastic restaurants, this is a breathtaking resort. We stopped by today to check out the latest updates, so let’s get started!
We spend a lot of time sipping on libations in Disney World, and we’ve got some THOUGHTS.
Today, we’ve got a DRINK UPDATE for ya! So join us as we stop in all sorts of places — from Disney Springs to EPCOT — and check out some NEW and old drinks. Let’s goooooo!
Jambo from Kidani Village in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge!
This week we headed to Walt Disney World’s wildest resort to see what’s new and what’s happening. We decided to visit Kidani Village, the DVC resort area, to check out the pool and take in the savanna view!
Did you hear the news? Just last week, Mobile Order in Disney World expanded to include a Table Service restaurant for the first time, and today we’re learning a few more details on this updated feature.
But first, a bit of background: Mobile Order made its Disney World debut in May 2017. Launched within the My Disney Experience app, the feature allows guests to pre-order and pre-pay for their food at participating Counter Service restaurants, thereby saving time which would otherwise be spent in line. This recent expansion, though, introduced Mobile Order to a Table Service restaurant for the first time with To Go service from Sanaa in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. [Read more…]
We recently made the rounds to several Disney World Resort hotels to see what’s new!
Who’s ready for an adventure?? We took a trip out to several of the EPCOT and Animal Kingdom area hotels to check out the latest additions. Here’s what’s new at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, and Disney’s Riviera Resort!
Earlier today, we learned about a MAJOR update coming to select Disney World table service restaurants. A brand-new Mobile Order feature launched on My Disney Experience called Table Service To Go, which as the name implies offering diners the opportunity to order table service food TO GO.
When we investigated further, it appeared that Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is currently the only location offering this service. We ventured over to Animal Kingdom Lodge to test this new Mobile Order experience out for ourselves (spoiler alert: we 100% order the Bread Service).
Since Disney World’s reopening, we’ve started to see more of our favorite food and drink locations (like the Flavors from Fire booth at the Taste of EPCOT Food and Wine Festival) opening back up at Disney World.
And now we can add one more location to the list — the Uzima Springs Pool Bar at Jambo House at Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Since Disney World reopened, we’ve noticed concentrated efforts on expanding the Mobile Dining features in the Disney World app.
We’ve seen the new Walk-up Waitlist feature and more restaurants have received mobile capability. But perhaps the MOST exciting addition has come today. You can now Mobile Order from select table service restaurants in Disney World!
One of our favorite dining locations at Disney World is at BOMA at Animal Kingdom Lodge. It’s also the restaurant where we discovered one of our absolute favorite snacks: Zebra Domes! Unfortunately, BOMA is still closed even months after the parks’ reopening.
Zebra Domes were also previously available at The Mara at Animal Kingdom Lodge, but guess what? That’s closed, too! WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO?
