Have you been sleeping on some Disney World restaurants?

There are so many wonderful Disney World restaurants that you’d be forgiven for overlooking some of the more underrated ones. In fact, folks looking for good seafood may go for some of the more obvious choices instead of considering some hidden gems located throughout the Disney World Resort.
Well, that was fast! The Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort just recently closed one of the upscale restaurants, and we were hoping it wouldn’t take too long for the new restaurant arriving in its place to open up.

Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina is taking the place of Shula’s Steak House, which just closed less than 48 hours ago at the time of writing. Now, reservations are ALREADY open for this new restaurant, and we know when it’s opening!
The one thing we love about Disney World is that you can get some amazing food without ever stepping foot in a theme park.
Maria & Enzo’s
Not only do Disney World hotels have great restaurants, but Disney Springs is chock-full of dining spots that we visit on a regular basis; no park ticket required! So when we were asked to attend a media event at Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante to check out some food and drinks…well, we couldn’t say “no!”

It’s a little sad when something closes in Disney World, and lately, we’ve seen a lot of permanent closures that have already happened or are happening soon.

We recently had to say goodbye to It’s Tough To Be A Bug in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. We also just said goodbye to Muppets Courtyard in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We’ll soon be saying goodbye to Tom Sawyer Island and Rivers of America in Magic Kingdom. Well, over at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, we were recently informed that a popular restaurant there, Shula’s Steak House, would permanently close. Now the restaurant is closed, so let’s take a look at what’s going on there now.
When it comes to dining around Disney World and Orlando as a whole, you’ve got a TON of options. Want something quick and easy? You’ve got it. Something middle of the road and comforting? Yep, that too. And if you’re looking for something upscale and luxurious, you can find that as well.

When it comes to dining at Disney World, you’ve got a TON of options. There are quick and easy options, middle-of-the-road and comforting options, and there are even upscale and luxurious options. Disney World’s resorts can be the top choice for travellers coming to Orlando. It’s tough to say no to the luxurious Grand Floridian Resort, Contemporary Resort, and Polynesian Village Resort (to name just a few). Especially when it comes to places to eat and drink at those resorts.

Welcome to Adventureland
The Beak and Barrel is a new Pirates of the Caribbean tavern coming to Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland later this year. While we know a little bit about what the tavern will offer (such as “tasty options for pirates of all ages — as well as refreshing cocktails for Guests ages 21 and up”) within a couple of lively spaces themed after the famous swashbucklers, Disney recently gave us a more in-depth look at some of the restaurant’s aesthetics!
If you get hungry in Disney World, there are SO many options to choose from. You’ve got quick-service restaurants if you want something quick and easy. You’ve got table service restaurants for a more relaxed experience. You’ve even got upscale and fancy (we’re talking Michelin star dining here, people), if that’s what you’re looking for.

The thing is, you’ll see certain Disney World restaurants recommended by a lot of folks, but we’re always wanting to let you know about those spots that maybe not everyone has discovered yet.
