The Walt Disney World Railroad has quite literally been closed for YEARS.
Train Station
The train used to travel in a circle around Magic Kingdom, but was temporarily put out of commission when Disney started building TRON. We still have no update from Disney on when the train might be back, but we’re seeing some encouraging signs in the park!
It has been a big year for Disney World, with new additions in the form of restaurants and rides, as well as the 100th anniversary celebration! Because of this, travel to Orlando has been quite popular recently!
Orlando International Airport
And since travel is so heavy, the Orlando International Airport is in the middle of a rather large expansion, adding on a NEW Terminal C. We’ve gotten a glimpse at many aspects of this addition already, but now we know what the security area will look like!
Confession: we totally miss the days when we could play dress up with our friends and pretend to be princesses. It was so much fun to try on the gowns, heels, and most importantly, the jewelry!

Now that we’re adults, getting that royal jewels look can cost a pretty penny. That’s why we keep our eyes peeled for any discounts we can find!
Does anyone else have like 30 plastic Disney World bags in their closet from trips gone by that you just can’t bring yourself to throw away? We know they’re just cheap plastic bags…but they’re part of the Disney experience!

Disney Designer Dolls are NOT your typical Disney Princess dolls.
Jasmine and Pocahontas Designer Dolls
While they cost a pretty penny, the Disney Designer Doll Collection features Disney Princesses in detailed couture gowns, and so far we’ve seen Jasmine, Pocahontas, Ariel, Tiana, Aurora, Mulan, Merida, Moana, Rapunzel, and Cinderella. One Disney Princess is notably missing…but not anymore!
Yes, the 2022 D23 Expo was packed with exciting projects…but quite a few anticipated announcements were missing.

We were excited to learn about new projects, like the retheming of Pacific Wharf in Disney California Adventure, the addition of Tiana’s Palace in Disneyland, and the possible new lands coming to Magic Kingdom. And we were pleased to hear updates on existing projects, like the reimagination of Mickey’s Toontown in Disneyland and TRON Lightcycle Run in Magic Kingdom. But there were a lot of existing and previously announced projects that were not mentioned during the event’s announcements — check them out.
