Today is a sad day at Disney World. DinoLand U.S.A. is officially closing, and today marks the last day to experience the land.

It’s been slowly closing in phases, so we’ve already said goodbye to other experiences such as TriceraTop Spin, Fossil Fun Games, Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures (which I’m still not over), The Boneyard, Trilo-Bites, and Dino-Bite Snacks, but it doesn’t make it any less hard to officially say goodbye. Come with us for the final day of DinoLand in Animal Kingdom.

We hate to say it, but the day has come. The asteroid is coming down on Dinoland U.S.A. after today.

Today is the last day that DinoLand U.S.A. is open before it permanently closes to make way for Tropical Americas: Pueblo Esperanza. It’s hard for all of us to see the restaurants and the beloved attraction, DINOSAUR, go away. We expected there were going to be lots of guests at Animal Kingdom to say goodbye to the land, but we weren’t prepared for crowds like this!

The Seas has one of the largest aquariums in the world, not to mention special spaces for rehabilitating sea creatures like manatees (some of our favorite Disney guests) before releasing the animals back out into the wild or sending them on their way elsewhere.
