Disney World’s 50th Anniversary is still happening in the parks!

Although holiday decorations are starting to take over, you can still find lots of ways to celebrate the 50th. We recently had a new 50th-themed snack, we’re still enjoying new shows like Enchantment and Harmonious, and there are plenty of options for themed merchandise online and in the gift shops. The holiday treats have arrived!
As you may have seen, the holidays have landed at Disney World, and we are up to our ears in holiday decorations, merchandise, and snacks! But while we’re checking out all the new holiday offerings, we’re also keeping an eye on menus at Disney World restaurants because that’s what we do!
Happy Holidays from Disney’s Animal Kingdom! The festive season has arrived in Disney World’s youngest theme park and we’re loving it (especially the return of the Merry Menagerie puppets — so cute!).

Today, we’ve got a special treat for you: we’re taking a look at some of the first holiday projections of the season on Animal Kingdom’s icon, the Tree of Life!

The Grand Floridian’s Christmas Tree just went up!
We went to the first Disney Very Merry After Hours this week, saw the iconic gingerbread house go up in the Grand Floridian, found new decorations in the parks, and tried more festive food. The other night, we saw Santa at Disney Very Merriest After Hours in Magic Kingdom, and today, we spotted him at a couple of the other parks!

We’ve seen decorations go up in all of the parks, the famous gingerbread house return to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and the first night of Disney Very Merriest After Hours was this week. And today, we spotted an adorable part of the holidays make its return at Animal Kingdom!

Disney+ Day Decor
Today, Disney is celebrating their streaming service’s 2 year anniversary! There are a bunch of new shows, shorts, and movies on Disney+, including Marvel’s Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings at no extra cost. The Disney Parks are also taking part in the festivities today, with Disney+ subscribers allowed to enter all the Walt Disney World parks 30 minutes before park opening. So, let’s head into the parks and see what special celebrations are happening!
