You never regret choosing Flame Tree Barbecue.
This spot in Disney’s Animal Kingdom consistently delivers when it comes to flavor, portion size, and chill vibes — all things that matter when you’re walking 10,000+ steps and still trying to make it to your next ride. Whether you’re a longtime park pro or visiting for the first time, this quick-service restaurant hits just right. Here’s why Flame Tree Barbecue should always be on your Disney dining shortlist — and exactly what we think you should order when you go.
Disney World is expensive — there’s no way around that, but there are ways to make your trip less likely to break the bank.
Dining in Disney World can be especially hard sometimes considering it can cost quite a pretty penny, especially if you’re with a larger group. However, the key is to grab snacks and meals that are both filling AND on the cheaper side — yes, they do exist, and we’re about to prove it to you right now!
We are getting close to being ONE month out from the opening of two brand-new Disney shows in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! On April 27th, we will be just one month away from the debut of Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After and “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure.”
We have been waiting (not so) patiently for the grand opening show, and we are getting closer and closer! However, we still have a bit before they open. Let’s take a closer look at what these shows are replacing and what else is closed in Disney World this week.
If you’ve ever tried ordering a Dr Pepper at Disney World, you probably learned the hard way that it’s not exactly welcome around here.

Disney World
Thanks to Disney’s longstanding deal with Coca-Cola, most places only serve Coke products—which means Dr Pepper fans are usually out of luck. BUT after one extremely niche sidequest, I’ve cracked the code on where to find Pibb Xtra and the few places that actually serve real Dr Pepper. Let’s just say I’m now the self-proclaimed Soda Sommelier of Disney World.
Happy Easter weekend to those who celebrate! To everyone else, happy spring!
Now we’ve already made our way around Disney World, trying out some Easter and spring snacks, along the way PLUS we’ve seen the Easter egg displays at the hotel. This week, we also revisited a snack in Magic Kingdom that is MUCH better now. And, as always, we’ve been keeping an eye on Disney World restaurant menus, and we’ve got some changes to share with you.
Disney World is currently preparing for numerous new experiences in the coming years and refurbishing current attractions. Brand-new lands, including Pueblo Esperanza, Monsters, Inc. Land, and Villains Land will be coming. Plus, new lounges like the GEO-82 lounge in EPCOT will be opening, and new shows such as “Zootopia: Better Zoogether!” in Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be debuting.
As well, Test Track, Big Thunder Mountain, and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin will also be refreshed. While we are excited about new openings and refreshed attractions, these updates also mean there will be closures that could impact your trip.
Let’s be real — Disney World is magical, but the lines? Yeah, not so much….

Magic Kingdom
After way too many trips (and more Mickey pretzels than we’d like to admit), we’ve tested every ride strategy out there. Some flopped. But a few? Total game-changers! Here are the 3 ride hacks that actually work for us every single time — no Lighting Lanes required.
Disney World is going through some MAJOR changes over the next couple years. We’re going to see the coming of Monstropolis to Hollywood Studios, Pueblo Esperanza to Animal Kingdom, and Villains and Cars Land to Magic Kingdom.

Magic Kingdom!
In order to prepare for the massive expansion across the park, things are starting to close! If you’re planning a trip to Disney World for the early summer, these are six closures you should be aware of for the month of May!
When you’re ballin’ on a budget, it can be difficult to find cheap, FILLING meals around Disney World.
Sometimes, you have to get creative. Just because something isn’t listed as such doesn’t mean you can’t have it as a meal around the parks — including snacks, sides, and kids meals too. Animal Kingdom is full of hidden gems that are perfect for a quick, cheap meal and we’re heading to one of our favorite spots to check one out!
