Let’s take a journey together back to the year 2019. Baby Yoda, also known as Grogu, is taking the internet by storm, and we are crying in the theaters at the end of Avengers: Endgame. But, that is not all that was happening in 2019.
Disney also made a huge announcement about a new ride that was expected to be built in EPCOT. However, here we are five years later and the ride is no closer to being built.
There are going to be some big closures in Disney World in 2025!
Next year, parts of DinoLand, U.S.A. begin to close as the land gets transformed into the Tropical Americas. Also, we have the scheduled closures of Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat as construction begins on the new Cars attractions for Frontierland. But what about seasonal refurbishments? Well, we’ve got some of those on the way too!
Disney recently announced that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is going to be rethemed with The Muppets. Disney adults DEFINITELY had some thoughts about this announcement and fans are VERY divided on whether Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster starring The Muppets is a good idea or not.
Currently, the attraction is Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith and features a variety of songs from this iconic rock band. However, the roller coaster attraction on Sunset Boulevard will soon be taken over by The Muppets as the new Monsters, Inc. land moves into the Muppets Courtyard area of Hollywood Studios.
