Disney World has changed a LOT over the last five years, and it wasn’t all due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Five years is a long time, even if a global pandemic never happened, and there have been a number of big changes in Disney World. If you haven’t visited Disney World in five years, you might be REALLY confused when you arrive, so we’re here to go over all the changes!
One of the reasons you may want to stay at one of Disney World’s resort hotels on your next vacation are the perks that come along with being an “on-property” guest. If you shell out the extra cash and you decide to stay at a Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resort, then you’ll be eligible for an exclusive perk: extended evening park hours.
Gone are the days of Extra Magic Hours where all on-property guests could stay in the parks late on a designated day; this benefit is now solely for those guests staying at Disney World’s top-tier hotels. If you aren’t eligible for this perk, don’t fret! There are plenty of ways to still have the best day possible, and we’re going to tell you how to do so!
One of the most common questions that people ask about Disney World is how they can beat the crowds and get on their favorite rides without a long wait.
There are a couple of different options, including making use of the Lightning Lanes with Genie+ and Pay-Per-Ride. If you’re staying at a Disney World hotel, you qualify for Early Theme Park Entry, which means you can go into the Disney World theme parks before the other guests. So what exactly is Early Entry? And how should you spend your extra time in the parks? We’re answering all your Early Entry questions here. Let’s dive in! [Read more…]

Disney World is home to some great perks, whether you’re staying onsite or just visiting for the day. Today, we’re breaking down some of the perks that the resort is known for and discussing their status — are they still available right now?
It’s time for the $1,000 question (sometimes literally) — are you staying on-property or off-property at Disney World?
Disney World resort guests get certain perks, like being able to enter the theme parks early and use free transportation like buses, Monorails, and the Skyliner. But a lot of the hotels outside of Disney World are a LOT cheaper and are just as nice as (if not nicer than) those on-property hotels. The main thing that seems to stay the same in Disney World is that it’s almost always changing. Or, as Heraclitus once said, “The only constant in life is change.” Yeah. We hit you with a philosophy quote there.

But it’s so good that we can’t just recommend you skip it during your vacation. So what should you do when Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (inevitably) breaks down during your trip?
