Greetings from Magic Kingdom!
We’re in the OG Disney World park taking in all the sights, sounds, and smells — and there’s almost always something new to see. So, without further ado, let’s check out what’s new in Magic Kingdom!
Things are CHANGING all over Disney World and it seems that the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover has been impacted by some changes…again.
We’ve seen the PeopleMover be closed, stuck, and evacuated, but in 2022 something really big happened when the PeopleMover got some NEW narration. Now, another change has been made at this slow-moving, relaxing, and classic attraction.
Rides close down all the time in Disney World — it’s just a part of the reality of theme parks! Whether it comes down to the weather, technical malfunctions, refurbishments, or any other myriad of reasons, it’s common to see at least one ride unexpectedly closed every day in Disney World.
One of our favorite classic Magic Kingdom rides, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, is a ride that seems to close down all the time. In fact, we’ve seen it temporarily closed many times and we’ve even been evacuated from it! And now — it seems that the PeopleMover’s problems continue.
We had a VERY full month of news last month!
From the release of MagicBand+ to fun at the 2022 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival, there have been some BIG Disney new items this past month. Now, we’re taking a look at the three most UNEXPECTED things that happened in Disney World in October!
Sit back, we’ve got a whole BUNCH of Disney news updates headed your way!
This week we got to check out some big CHANGES that had been made to a classic Disney World ride, learned about some character dining experiences that will be returning soon, and much more. Are you ready to get all caught up on all the latest? Let’s go!
Things are constantly changing in Disney World, and now a fan-favorite attraction has changed in a BIG way.
The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover is a favorite of many guests, but it’s also a ride that breaks down often and can be somewhat unreliable. If this ride is one of your must-dos and you’re emotionally attached to the most recent version of the dialogue, we have some big news!
Sometimes Disney World rides break down.
When they break down and people are on them, those people then need to be evacuated off of the ride, which can make for a really unique experience! We were in the Magic Kingdom one day when we decided to take a spin on a popular Tomorrowland ride, but then it stopped, and we were evacuated. Take a look at what it’s like to be evacuated off of the PeopleMover with us!
This week was not exactly great for two Disney World rides.
From the mystery of a missing sandwich to some big Magic Kingdom showtime changes, this week was full of unexpected surprises in Disney World! Let’s jump right into it.
It’s not uncommon for rides to randomly close in the Disney parks!
Typically, when this happens, there’s a pretty valid reason. We often see outdoor attractions close in inclement weather, rides shut down for refurbishments, or even the occasional technical difficulties. But, there’s one Magic Kingdom ride that seems to be closed more often than many others!
Have you ever seen a Disney World dark ride with the lights on?
If you have, it might have completely changed your perspective on the ride! There’s a lot hiding in dark rides that we can’t see, but sometimes when rides break down and/or get evacuated, the lights will be turned on and you’ll get to see a whole new world. One of the most coveted rides to see with its lights on is Space Mountain — and we have a look for you!
