Yak and Yeti at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Just Got a LITTLE More Expensive

Walt Disney World reopened with quite a few changes to the overall dining experience. Limited capacities, increased sanitation, physical distancing, and limited menus are just a few of the newly implemented health and safety regulations. With all the new social distancing procedures, we wanted to check out one of the most interactive restaurants in Disney World to see what it’s like now. We headed over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to get a good home-cooked meal from 50’s Prime Time Cafe!

News! Olivia’s Cafe Added to Mobile Order To Go in Disney World

Over the past few weeks, Disney World has introduced Mobile Order To Go, a new way to enjoy some of your favorite table service restaurants! That’s right, you can now order table service food TO GO!

Bread Service to go!

This service, accessible on My Disney Experience, is still in its initial roll out phase, and at first it was only available at Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. But recently we’ve seen few more restaurants be added, like Kona Cafe at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, as well as The Wave…of American Flavors at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

Olivia’s Cafe Is Being Added to Disney World’s Table Service Mobile Order List Soon!

Last month, we learned about a MAJOR update coming to select Disney World Table Service Restaurants. We then noticed that the My Disney Experience app had added Mobile Order to one of our favorite table service spots, Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge!

Since then, we’ve noticed two more restaurants pop up with the Mobile Order Table Service To Go feature: Kona Cafe at Disney’s Polynesian Resort and The Wave…of American Flavors at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. But now it looks like another restaurant will be getting the feature soon, too!

NEWS! Kona Cafe Added to Mobile Order for Table Service Restaurants in Disney World!

Whether you’re snagging a Dole Whip or treating yourself to as many Mickey treats as your heart desires, Mobile Order is the real MVP when it comes to getting yourself a quick snack in the parks.

Recently, Disney has decided to extend Mobile Order to select table-service restaurants in the parks and resorts. Until today, Sanaa was the only place you can get food to-go from a table-service location. But, it looks like you’ll be able to enjoy more of your favorite table-service eats and treats without having to stop and dine at the restaurants!

FIVE Magic Kingdom Restaurants (Including Be Our Guest) Were Added To Disney World’s New Walk-Up Waitlist

It’s not always easy to grab reservations for many table service restaurants at Walt Disney World, especially in the Magic Kingdom. But it seems that getting that must-want dining experience is starting to become a little easier, thanks to Disney World’s new Walk-Up Waitlist.

The mobile dine walk-up waitlist gives guests the option to make something a lot like last-minute reservations at some of the most popular restaurants in the parks. And as the feature continues to roll out, even more restaurants are getting added! Recently, we noticed that five new Magic Kingdom restaurants had the mobile dine walk-up waitlist added!

There is certainly NO shortage of places to eat at Disney World. 400 restaurants. 400!!

But of all the quick service spots, grab-and-go food items, and table service restaurants, Wine Bar George is one of our FAVORITE places to eat, not just at Disney Springs but in ALL of Walt Disney World! And…interestingly, that’s something that just about everybody agrees with. That NEVER happens. So here’s why this restaurant seems to be universally perceived as practically perfect!

Who’s Dining Inside The Diamond Horseshoe in Magic Kingdom?

Have you ever dined at The Diamond Horseshoe in Magic Kingdom? This restaurant has offered a few different dining styles over the years to guests in the park.

For instance, it was once a seasonal Counter Service option open only during the park’s busiest times. More recently, though, the spot has provided a Table Service option featuring both an all-you-care-to-enjoy Saloon Feast as well as sandwiches and platters served a la carte. In any case, The Diamond Horseshoe has not been available in this initial reopening phase of the park… which is why we were surprised to see guests dining in there today. [Read more…]
