Disney World is truly a magical place, especially during special times like the 50th Anniversary and the EPCOT Festival of the Arts! However, the real magic of Disney World is the Cast Members who make all of this happen!

Today while we were roaming around Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we met a Cast Member that we weren’t expecting to see!
We’re still kinda reeling from all the price increases we saw at Disney World last week, but there have still been additional changes to Disney World restaurant menu updates.

So while we’re eating our share of Mickey Scones (YES, THERE ARE MICKEY SCONES), we’re still going through all these updates and reporting on them. So let’s get to it, shall we?
We have some exciting news that we can’t WAIT to share! Across Disney World, we’ve been saying “hello” to LOTS of returning Disney friends, including Vanellope, Joy, and Olaf! It’s been a LONG time since we’ve seen some of these characters in Disney World; we missed them!

Now, another character is back in Disney World and we are SO happy to see them once again! Come with us as we welcome back a fun Disney friend!
We know exactly what you’re thinking: “Oh, please! Florida is WAY warmer than most parts of the U.S. right now!” You’re probably right. Florida is just about as south as you can get while still being in America. BUT, despite what many people may expect, it’s been pretty cold in Disney World lately! Typhoon Lagoon, Disney’s water park, has been closed due to the weather. Some guests are even walking around with BLANKETS wrapped around their bodies!
Even FLORIDA can be chilly?!
So yes, while Florida is comparatively warmer than, say, Michigan, right now, we’re still shivering in Disney World!
The Disney Skyliner is one of the newest and most convenient transportation options in Disney World.

You get to board a gondola and travel through the sky — so it’s basically a ride outside of the parks! The Skyliner connects a few Disney World Resort hotels with two Disney Parks, but this transportation option will be unavailable for a few days. Ride malfunctions happen in Disney World sometimes, and can either be funny things to laugh at or a unique evacuation experience. Many of us have been stopped on a ride for a few moments at some point, but there have been more extreme instances! And then, there are the rides that seem to regularly have issues. Nothing says “Disney” quite like a princess! While Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom is sort of the Disney princess headquarters, there are actually a LOT of other places you can meet Disney royalty! But, for the sake of efficiency (and maximum excitement), what if you want to meet ALL the princesses at once?

Currently, if you want to see multiple princesses in one convenient location, you can do so in a couple different ways. As you’ll quickly find out, though, there’s one option that has a major advantage, because it’s FREE (besides the cost of a park ticket, of course)! We love free!

In 2021, the free FastPass+ system was officially discontinued and replaced by the Disney Genie system — specifically the paid Disney Genie+ and Individual Attraction Selection (IAS) options at both Disney World and Disneyland Resort.

The big announcement came with enough information to make many people confused and left many with a lot of questions about the new system.
