If so, in case you haven’t already heard, you’ll need to know that a fan-favorite Disney’s Hollywood Studios attraction will be closed for refurbishment — tomorrow!
Two Disney World rides will close THIS WEEK for LONG refurbishments! Disney occasionally has to shut down rides and attractions in order to update them, and although sometimes those closures only last a few days, this time two rides will be closed for multiple months.

Let’s check out all the temporary closures and refurbishments that will affect Disney World from January 7th through the 13th.
Ahhh…the holiday season is finally over in Disney World and you have room to breathe again in the parks, right? WRONG.

But watch out — not ALL restaurants on Disney World property accept the Dining Plan credits! To help you prepare for your trip and decide whether buying a Dining Plan is worth it for you, here’s a full list of all the table service restaurants that accept the Disney Dining Plan. [Read more…]
Are you ready to say goodbye to your favorite Starbucks drinks in Disney World?
Well, it comes with the territory because some of those faves are only seasonal, meaning you can only get them at certain times of the year. We’re mourning the loss of those beloved fall drinks, like the Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. We’re also saying goodbye to those holiday drinks we love. But it’s okay — because new drinks have taken their place.
We’re at a loss for words.
Ok, not really. We’re never at a complete loss of words here at DFB, but we are certainly confused right now. There’s a strange new Genie+ trend that we’ve noticed in Disney World and it has us questioning everything we thought we knew. Here’s what we’ve been seeing! Check it out, and let us know if we’re the only ones who are baffled right now!
We love Disney food. Okay, so maybe you guessed that because we’re called Disney Food Blog, but we seriously cannot stop talking about Disney World food and what you should get. There are a few different ways to go about getting food at Disney World, and one way is with the Disney Dining Plan.
There are two different types of Disney Dining Plans: the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan and the Disney Standard Dining Plan. You’ll pay for the plan before your trip, and then you’re allotted a certain number of credits to use at Disney World restaurants and snack stands. While not every single restaurant is covered under the plan, many are, and we’re diving into all the available restaurants!
