food IS a theme park
Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Epcot!
And, we’ve got lots of food, construction, and merchandise updates to give you so let’s dive right on in!
The Epcot transformation is in full swing. And, while we’ll have to wait a while longer to see the changes finished, we’ve already spotted LOTS of progress!
Although we’ve said goodbye to old favorites (you’ll be missed, Fountain of Nations) we’re excited to say hellooo to places where we can make new memories with our favorite characters!
Epcot’s exciting transformation is officially in progress!
As part of the ongoing construction that will reimagine Future World, some fan favorites are facing some inevitable changes.
While 2019 brought us Disney’s Skyliner, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and of course, Rise of the Resistance, we’re ready for 2021! That’s because Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will be opening this year and we can’t wait to “rat around” on this new Disney attraction!
Here’s the scoop on everything you need to know about this fabulous new ride coming to Walt Disney World!
Epcot’s upcoming Regal Eagle Smokehouse is almost here (hopefully), and we are SO ready for some BBQ!
Earlier today, we visited the site of the future BBQ-joint to check out the progress of construction, and now we have even more exciting details that have us itching for the newest Epcot restaurant to open its doors!
For the most famous mouse around, Mickey sure gets into some antics!
And we love watching those antics on the Mickey Mouse Shorts! That’s a big reason why we’re so excited about the Mickey Shorts Theater and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway that are coming soon to Hollywood Studios in March. We’ve got a few months to go before we’ll be sitting in front of that silver screen, but in the meantime, we can show our love for the shorts with the super cute new Mickey and Minnie Shorts Loungfly Backpack and Wallets!
The Epcot Transformation is truly in full swing!
We are SO excited for everything coming to Epcot in the next few years! From eating in Space 220, to riding along with our favorite little chef on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, there’s a lot to look forward to in Epcot this year. One opening that we are oh-so-close to is Regal Eagle Smokehouse, an upcoming BBQ joint that’ll be opening in the America Pavilion. Today we checked in to see the latest progress on how the upcoming restaurant is coming along.
The newest style of MagicBands just got an added little spark of imagination!
A few months back, Disney World released their first round of Slap Bracelet MagicBands, a fun new alternative to the classic MagicBand strap. Today, we spotted a new addition to this style of MagicBand over at Mouse Gear in Epcot, and we think this one is a perfect fit for the park.
Happy Friday! Are you only a few days away from being in Disney World?
Guests in Disney World next week are going to be able to do a lot (after all, it is Disney!) but there are some things you WON’T be able to do between January 6th and January 12th. Let’s take a look at which Disney World attractions are closed next week in Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom!
It’s the start of the new year, and that means Epcot’s Festival of the Arts is just around the corner!
Although we’ve given you a look at the Disney on Broadway Concert Series, dining packages, workshops, and food coming to the festival this year, we’ve got another sneak peek to share with you!
