Hello from Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Upon taking our walk around Hollywood Studios to find everything new and updated, not only did we find a snack to try, but we also discovered some new merch and an update to the loading process of one of the most popular rides here!
Sometimes you gotta go where everybody knows your name! Whoops, that’s Cheers, isn’t it?
You know that feeling of walking into your neighborhood bar and everyone knows you? The Cheers reference holds true of this spot too. That’s basically the feeling you get when walking into Rose and Crown. We like the food just fine but we love the feeling we get when we enter the pub doors at this EPCOT restaurant. Step inside for a pint and see what the restaurant is like since our last visit!
We typically consider Disney World a pretty magical place, but everything can’t be magical ALL the time.
In fact, there are a few aspects of a Disney vacation that are decidedly NOT magical right now. Especially with the changes made when the parks reopened, there are a few things that we would consider less than stellar. Without further ado, here are FIVE not-so-magical things at Disney World right now.
Disney World continues to update its rides to better accommodate guests while also maintaining certain health and safety guidelines.
Since the parks’ reopening, Disney has added plexiglass dividers to many of its attractions to increase the number of guests that can use a ride vehicle at any given time. Most recently, plexiglass was added to Frozen Ever After in EPCOT, but we’ve also seen it on several Hollywood Studios attractions, including Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway and Rise of the Resistance.
When it comes to certain desserts, we’re firm believers that the gooier it is the better!
Bread pudding is the PRIME example, and we tried the gooiest version at Disney World that’s PERFECT for cooler temps, aka hot cocoa weather!
We’ve been keeping our eye on all the food at Disney World this week including been keeping track of holiday menu updates and holiday food offerings ’round the “World!”
We had some interesting Christmas week updates to share, so let’s dig in!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
It’s the week of Christmas which means that it’s one of the busiest times of the year. We’re taking a look at the average wait times in ALL FOUR PARKS! Let’s see how the Christmas week crowds at Disney World affected the wait times!
This has been an exciting week for construction projects in Disney World!
We got a look at the brand-new, just revealed EPCOT fountain AND we FINALLY got our hands on those mega-delicious (and mega LARGE) cookies from the just-opened Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs! Those weren’t the only changes we noticed this week and we’re here to tell you about ALL of them!
We’ve been keeping a close eye on all of the restaurant reopenings in Disney World!
While we’ve been snacking our way around the parks and watching a few Character Cavalcades along the way, we have especially been excited to see multiple spots around Disney World reopen during the holidays. And, it looks like another dining location is welcoming guests back through the end of the year!
