It’s a busy weekend in Disney World as more crowds head back to the parks and the capacity is increased to 35%!
Since the holiday season has officially kicked off, we’re all excited to see new entertainment, treats, and merchandise sweeping their way across Disney World. While EPCOT will be getting some Christmas magic with the return of the Festival of the Holidays at the end of the month, there was an unexpectedly big line in the World Showcase today.
For those of us who have been anxiously awaiting the reopening of Tokyo Dining in Disney World, we have some exciting menu news to share! Unless of course you were particularly attached to ramen, in which case…brace yourself.
The Japanese restaurant in Epcot’s World Showcase has remained closed, but with a BUNCH of new menu tweaks, we’re crossing our fingers — and our chopsticks! — that a reopening is imminent!
We are still waiting on word for when Disneyland will be able to reopen. While we are waiting, at least we can still get some of our Disney fix in Downtown Disney.
Now, one of the shops in Downtown Disney is offering Annual Passholders a sweet deal!
It’s been a ROUGH year for Disney, not only for the fans, but especially for the impassioned Cast Members.
This is especially apparent at Disneyland, where the park remains closed (with no reopening date in sight) and where layoffs and furloughs keep piling up. What Disneyland needs now more than ever is a glimmer of hope and optimism, and we found precisely that!
When Buena Vista Street reopens next Thursday, November 19th, it’ll be the first time Disneylanders step food inside the parks in some capacity in over eight months! With the exception of the Stage 17 Backlot Premiere Shop, the parks have been totally off-limits as California is keeping its larger theme parks closed for the time being.
Besides the fact that we’ll be able to take in the sights and sounds of Buena Vista Street next week, there are some incredible returning FOOD items that are a HUGE deal to us!
Yesterday, The Walt Disney Company held an earnings call regarding the end of their fourth quarter and end of their 2020 fiscal year.

Disney World has already extended hours for its parks for some dates in November, but we just noticed that Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom are getting an extra hour on select weekends in November AND December.
