Disney World transportation can be scary and overwhelming to think about — but believe it or not, there was a time it was actually SCARIER!
Disney World offers a ton of different kinds of transportation like bus routes, water taxis, and a monorail system. Perhaps the most famous form of Disney World transportation, however, is the Disney Skyliner. While it’s an incredibly popular way to travel around Disney World these days, that wasn’t always the case.
Disney World may be The Most Magical Place on Earth, but sometimes things can still go wrong there.
Sometimes, the weather is completely uncooperative (rain, we’re talking about storms and rain). Sometimes, you have to deal with crowds. Sometimes, rides close because of technical or other issues. But what happens if you’re on a ride when those issues arise and it needs to be evacuated?
Prices are rising again in Disney World, as they do almost every year, for food, experiences, tickets, and more.
We also know that prices have already risen for 2025, so we’re planning accordingly. You’re already paying so much, that you don’t need to pay any unnecessary fees on your vacation, too. And yet, they still happen. So we narrowed down some unnecessary fees for you to avoid because we care. Here’s how you can avoid those unnecessary costs on your next Disney World vacation.
Disney World is currently in the process of undergoing lots of different transformations.
CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza are still under construction but will finally open in June 2024. Country Bear Jamboree and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure are both getting ready for summer openings in Magic Kingdom. And there has been a small construction project happening at the One Man’s Dream theater in Disney’s Hollywood Studios that’s just been completed!
We might have a problem that we’re not willing to admit to ourselves.
But we’ll tell you because we trust you all. We LOVE Starbucks. (Okay, maybe that wasn’t a secret.) We can’t NOT stop at the Starbucks locations in the parks for a little pick-me-up. We love all the new drinks and snacks, of course. But we also adore all the new merchandise they come out with, especially when it’s all Disney-themed! We recently spotted a NEW Disney World tumbler, and it might be a new favorite (until the next one arrives).

Disney has so many new ideas planned, and we are so excited!
From new themed lands, theme park expansions, restaurants, and cruise ships, there is so much in store for Disney in the future! We are incredibly excited for all the new dining locations and cannot wait to try them when they open!
Summer is only a few months away, and Disney World has A LOT coming down the pipeline.
Some of these changes we’ve known about for a while, like the new cabins coming to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and the fact that Test Track will close at some point to be refurbished (but we don’t know when), not to mention that Dinoland U.S.A. will also be transforming sometime in the near future. But recently, Disney announced even MORE exciting news that we 100% know WILL be happening this summer!
Ahoy there, crew! After a long day at sea, we’re ready to head ashore and procure a meal. Luckily, a new gathering spot is coming soon, so all you salty sea lovers and plunderin’ pirates will have a special gathering place right in Adventureland.

Pirates of the Caribbean in Magic Kingdom
Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean attraction is arguably one of the most POPULAR Disney attractions out there! Even after all this time, we still can’t resist singing along when we hear, “Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me!” But did you know that a NEW pirate-themed location is coming to Magic Kingdom? Prepare to make sail! We’re going over EVERYTHING we know about the NEW Pirates of the Caribbean dining space.
