New attractions, new restaurants, new hotels — Disney World is getting some MAJOR renovations (that we are extremely excited about) currently.
With changes in the park happening in full swing, it’s no surprise that the transportation system is getting some pretty big updates to better accommodate guests AND the new developments. So what’s so different about transportation and how does it affect your stay at Disney World? Well, we have some good (and bad!) news for you, friends!
Happy weekend! We’ve been hard at work in the parks scoping out all the latest news for you! First, a few things to remember…

Who let the dogs out?! ALL 101 of them!!
The All-Stars Resorts in Disney World continually release character themed cupcakes that are both adorable AND delicious. And, their latest addition is no different! It’s too doggone cute!!
Okay, fine, fine. I’m cool. I’m fine. There’s only a new Hercules themed cupcake in Disney World!!
After spotting the villain at Villains After Hours (through August 8th in Magic Kingdom!), we couldn’t help but melt for him. Now at one of the All-Stars Resorts, you can get a taste of a treat straight from the gods.
Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show
is a luau feast featuring Polynesian-inspired food and entertainment in an open-air setting.
Located in Luau Cove at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, this dinner show highlights hula traditions, enthusiastic drumming, fire dancing, and more as diners enjoy platters of all-you-care-to-enjoy eats.
The Disney official backstory of Spirit of Aloha is that the host of the luau, Auntie Wini, is bidding aloha to one of her ‘ohana who’s heading “to the mainland” for college. And because when you’re at the Polynesian, everyone is ‘ohana, you’re invited to the celebration, too!
And we have to say: Auntie Wini does know how to put on a show! But would we be as taken with the food as we were with the entertainment? Let’s take a ride on the Hawaiian roller coaster that is Spirit of Aloha and see is we feel the love.
Disney’s Spirit of Aloha offers two showtimes: 5:15PM and 8:15PM. [Read more…]
The Skyliner Gondola System isn’t open yet, but we’re trying to get as many little peeks as possible.
While the new transportation system doesn’t open officially until September 29th in Disney World, we’ve seen lots of construction around the parks the past few months. Now, though, you can catch a glimpse of the Skyliner system somewhere new!
Lots of things have been happening around the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in the last few years! With renovations taking place at locations like Shula’s Steak House and Phins Lounge, the resort seems to be pushing to become an even better option for Disney guests.
And now, the Swan and Dolphin released information stating that not one but TWO new quick-service food and drink locations are on their way!
We all know which restaurants are popular at Walt Disney World. They’re the table-service ones that are nearly impossible to get an advance dining reservation at or the counter-service spots that never have any tables open so you end up eating your food on top of a nearby trash can (no judgment — we’ve all done it!).
But what about some lesser-known Disney World dining options? We’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite underdogs; the restaurants and menu items that most park guests often overlook. Here are our top 5 things that people aren’t eating at Disney World, but oughta try!!!
Staying hydrated in Disney World is CRITICAL and now we’re sharing all the details with you about one key way to do that.
As you stroll through Disney World, you’ll likely notice water fountains in many spots, and while those can be useful to fill up your water bottles, proper water bottle refill stations (sometimes called hydration stations) can be even BETTER. Many of these are available around the parks and hotels, which might have you wondering — what are they, where can I find them, and how do they work? Well, we’ve got everything you need to know here!
