Yeah, we know. That’s a BIG bummer, especially if you’re visiting Disney World this year. However, this is the first big refurbishment that the Magic Kingdom ride has had in a while, so Disney obviously has big plans for updating it a bit. Now, we’ve already noticed quite a bit of work happening on the ride, and we even have a hint of when we think it might reopen in 2026, but what will have changed with the ride then? Well, it turns out the answer to that is…A LOT.

A while back, we noticed that construction walls had popped up inside the Emporium — seemingly out of nowhere. Cast Members told us that the store was undergoing a bit of a refresh and would be back to tip-top shape soon, and now it looks like that time has come. This is our warning to you that for the next few days, Lightning Lane prices are changing!
Choosing to stay at a Disney World hotel provides numerous perks that can help make your vacation better! You can take advantage of a complimentary day at a Disney World water park on your check-in day, enjoy extra time in the park with Early Entry, get free parking at the theme parks, and utilize free Disney transportation.
