Disney Springs is full of fantastic restaurants, both Disney-themed and non-Disney gift shops, and even a few attractions. We just found out that one popular restaurant has a new executive chef!
It’s a GREAT week to be a fan of Disney food!
Why, you ask? Well, not only did we try a ton of new holiday treats, but a new restaurant, EET by Maneet Chauhan, has also officially opened in Disney Springs! If you’re chronically indecisive when it comes to choosing somewhere to eat, Disney Springs just might be the most stressful place you can go. The shopping and dining district inside Disney World lists 68 restaurants on its website — if you can’t choose between Taco Bell and McDonald’s for a late-night fast food run at home, how in the WORLD are you supposed to narrow down that huge number?!

There are so many great reasons to visit Disney World’s resort hotels.
From elaborately-themed lobbies and gift shops, to the cafes, and restaurants, and the delicious cuisine in which you can indulge — it’s safe to say that these hotels have much to offer. The best part? You don’t have to book at a room at any of these hotels to visit — you can just drop by for a few minutes to shop, grab coffee, or even check out the table-service restaurants. Speaking of which… some of our FAVORITE restaurants at Disney World can be found in the hotels. We’re going to one beloved restaurant today, and we’re taking you with us. It takes us to one of Disney’s Deluxe Resorts near EPCOT…
People can be picky when it comes to their food, and that’s okay!
Whether you’re picky about what you like to eat or where you eat, we don’t judge! We know plenty of people who will only go to particular restaurants if they’re in the mood for something specific– and we support it! After a lot of thinking (and food tasting), we get it. We put ourselves in a steak expert’s shoes and thought about where we would prefer to eat.
Listen, here at DFB, we know a thing or two about Disney World food.
In fact, we’re pretty passionate about it. It’s kind of our whole thing. And this, dear DFB reader, is why we’re begging you, for the love of all things Disney, to please stop wasting your money on terrible burgers in the parks and hotels. Don’t worry — we’ll tell you where to eat instead.
Have you heard of the NEW restaurant at Pixar Place Hotel in Disneyland?

Pixar Place Construction Progress
Pixar Place Hotel is the re-themed Paradise Pier Hotel, and part of the hotel’s major upgrade includes a new table service restaurant called Great Maple. We’ve got an important update for you about this spot!
One of our favorite character meals in Disney World has CHANGED!

Garden Grill
We love visiting Garden Grill in EPCOT, where we can enjoy a homestyle feast while visiting with Farmer Mickey and his pals. Plus, the entire restaurant ROTATES, giving visitors a view of the Living with the Land attraction. It doesn’t get much cooler than that. But is this spot still a must-visit after a few changes just hit the menu? [Read more…]
We are so excited for the official opening of the reimagined Pixar Place Hotel over in Disneyland — January isn’t that far away!
This hotel used to be Paradise Pier, but will now be fully themed to Pixar when it reopens. That includes the Great Maple Restaurant, which opened its doors on November 15th! Check out the first look at the reimagined inside with us.
When it comes to Disney World restaurants that have stepped up their game recently, Tony’s Town Square Restaurant in Magic Kingdom falls at the top of our list.
While we can’t think of a single person who has ever said that this is their favorite Disney restaurant, it isn’t half as bad as people say it is. In case you’re in need of an extra excuse to give it a try or try it again, Disney just announced that some returning ol’ faithful menu items as well as NEW menu items have landed on the Tony’s menu. Let’s check them out!
