There are a lot of things you can control when it comes to your Disney World vacation, but you cannot control the weather. And, since the parks are located in Central Florida, there are some pretty significant weather events that happen in the area.
A rainy day in Animal Kingdom
Disney World regularly experiences thunderstorms in the summer months, and the parks have even shut down several times for hurricanes passing through. But, during the first part of the year, it’s pretty rare for us to see severe storms in Disney World. However, Central Florida weather is known for being unpredictable, and that was proven true last night!
We’ve said “so long” to February, now March is here and that means it’s time for St. Patrick’s Day!

And if you’re a milkshake person looking to spice it up with some Baileys, this Disney World location just came up with a St. Patrick’s Day drink that could give McDonald’s Shamrock Shake a run for its money!

The Gingerbread Salted Caramel Buttercream Cookie Sandwich is a limited-time treat typically available in EPCOT for the holiday season, but this year we noticed the cookie stuck around for a while after December. Initially, we were told that it would be gone from Disney World after February, but we have some BIG news about this popular treat!
Sometimes we get carried away with the flashy, weird treats in Disney World. When we see an “it’s a small world” cupcake piled high with icing, our curiosity practically FORCES us to try it! We hear about frozen guacamole and can’t HELP but give it a try — it’s human nature! But the truth is, those plain, basic Disney treats can be just as good as those wacky Disney snacks. Phew, it feels good to get that off our chest.
