Today is a big day over in EPCOT, because one of the park’s most popular rides is CLOSED as of today for a big change to take place.
Disney announced back in October that Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure would be closing for a short period of time this month, from November 10th to 13th, for some big updates to the ride. This means that there will be one less ride available during your EPCOT trip for the next few days, and once it opens back up, it’ll look pretty different.
Sleeping at Disney World sounds like the easiest part of your trip, right? Well, you might need to think again.
Between the excitement, the early mornings, and the unique hotel experience, getting a good night’s sleep at Disney World can be trickier than it sounds. Whether you’re staying at a Value Resort or one of Disney’s Deluxe hotels, there are a few things first-timers should know before their head ever hits the pillow. Let’s talk about what you might not expect when trying to sleep at a Disney World hotel and how you can prepare for it.
Grab your calendars — another Disney World restaurant will start taking reservations soon!
Wailulu Bar & Grill is the newest restaurant to open at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, located at the new Island Tower. This isn’t your typical pool bar — it features an all-day menu for lunch and dinner, plus specialty coffee and on-the-go morning pastries available for breakfast. Up until now, this restaurant has been first-come, first-served, but that’s all changing in December.
If you’re heading to EPCOT this week, you’ll notice a big change on one of the park’s most popular attractions.
Disney has confirmed that Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is closed starting today, November 10th, through November 13th for a quick refurbishment, and yes, that means it’s also temporarily gone from the Lightning Lane lineup. The ride will reopen on November 14th with a major update to its experience. Here’s what’s going on, why the closure is happening now, and how it’ll impact your EPCOT plans over the next few days.
Another week has passed in Disney World, and it’s been a fun one. The new Zootopia show opened in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and we got to meet Nick and Judy right after we caught the show for the first time.
The holiday season has also officially kicked off, and we’ve been to the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party of the season (and we ate a TON of exclusive party snacks). In the meantime, Disney World restaurants were busy changing their menus, so let’s take a look at the updates!
Have you heard the news? Disney World is changing at a rate that we’ve never seen before!

Walt Disney World
Over the last few years, we’ve seen more construction walls than we care to mention, demolition of classic lands, and new attractions that we’ve loved. Each week, we like to do a recap of the biggest news you might have missed, and this week, Disney got BUSY! Let’s break it all down right here.
Okay, so there’s a bar in Disney World that’s pretty popular with a lot of celebrities. That bar is La Cava del Tequila at the Mexico Pavilion in EPCOT. For example, Neil Patrick Harris frequents this bar so much that he has his own drink AND table.
We’ve also seen the stars of Breaking Bad at La Cava. Model Lily Aldridge designed her own drink for the bar. Well, now, La Cava del Tequila is teasing something with ANOTHER celebrity, and we have no idea what it means (but whatever it is, we’re buying).
Disney trips are full of magic, fun, and… a surprising lack of outlets and sleep-friendly quiet.
Whether you’re staying at a Value Resort, a Deluxe Villa, or somewhere in between, there are a few hotel essentials we truly wish we had bought sooner. These items made our stay more comfortable, more organized, and honestly, a lot less chaotic.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is getting a brand new land, and as a result, we’ve seen the phased closure of DinoLand U.S.A., with the entire land set to close in February 2026. Looking forward, though, we can’t wait to see Pueblo Esperanza (that’s the new land), as well as ride its attractions.
Well, one of those attractions will be an Encanto-themed ride (and unlike Bruno, we are going to SO talk about it). Now, we’ve seen a model of the ride, as well as concept art, but now we have a full aerial view of the ride’s construction…and y’all, it is HUGE.
