When Disney announced that MagicBand+ would be the next generation of MagicBands, they also revealed that the technology would FINALLY be coming to Disneyland Resort. The new bands have been available in Disney World for a while now, but they are officially launching at Disneyland TODAY. So, come along with us as we check them out!

We’ve already seen holiday merchandise in Disneyland, and we’ve already got a full list of food booths for the Festival of the Holidays in Disney California Adventure. Now, though, Disneyland’s iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle is showing off its snowy holiday look — in OCTOBER.
There has been a LOT of big news about Disney World restaurants this past week!
Toy Story Land
First, we saw a TON of price increases at restaurants, but at the same time, Monsieur Paul finally reopened, AND we got a reopening date for Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, both in EPCOT. Now, we’ve got a little bit of a sneak peek at what some things in an upcoming restaurant will look like!
(UPDATE) The ears have sold out online again.
Figment has quite the following and it’s not uncommon to see merchandise modeled after the purple dragon sell out quickly!

We saw guests stand in line for hours for the Figment popcorn bucket and if you missed your chance to purchase one in person, some online listings from resellers reached hundreds of dollars. One piece of Figment merch that debuted at the D23 Expo this year is the Figment Ear Headband for Adults.

We’ve been watching the construction in this area for a WHILE and saw when rehearsals started, but the big news is that we finally have a reopening date for the nighttime spectacular at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Disney recently announced that the show would return in November of 2022 and it’s almost time to see the revamped version of the show.
We talk about delicious food inside the Disney World parks all the time, but that’s not the only place you can find tasty eats in Disney World.

The first holiday merchandise has shown up in the parks, dining and dessert party reservations for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are now available, and we’re gearing up for EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays. We’re starting to see park pass reservations disappear for November and Christmas Day, and now another big day in Magic Kingdom and EPCOT has officially sold out.
