While local officials have voted in favor to speed the reopening of large California theme parks, Disney has announced some changes that will affect many of Disneyland’s guests. One of those changes was the cancellation of the Disneyland Annual Passholder program.

They often get SWEET discounts on Disney merchandise, access to exclusive Disney stuff (like some really cool MagicBands and Minnie Ears), and more! And now Annual Passholders can get some perks at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on weekdays (including the ever-popular Passholder Magnets!).

Gone are the days that you have to be in the Disney parks to snag a souvenir because a lot of it ends up on shopDisney. And, we’re not complaining about it — especially after the year we’ve had! Now, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can enjoy their discount both in and out of the parks with a NEW limited-time discount on shopDisney!
Disney World may no longer offer free MagicBands with resort hotel stays, but there are still plenty of great MagicBand colors and designs to choose from if you want to buy one!

Most recently we saw the Dooney & Bourke Americana MagicBand, along with some new glittery Magicbands, a MagicBand with Mickey-shaped snacks, and a brand new Up MagicBand!
Last year, Disney World Annual Passholders got some special savings opportunities in the parks.

So far, this year we’ve seen exclusive merchandise become available for Passholders, including ears, a hat, and a pin. Well now Annual Passholders are getting another Disney treat. Once again, Annual Passholders have the opportunity to save BIG on select Disney merchandise in Walt Disney World.

We got some BIG news from Disneyland last week with the cancellation of its Annual Passholder program.

If you are a current Disneyland Annual Passholder, there are still some perks you can take advantage of though, specifically discounts on shopping and food purchases in Downtown Disney and Buena Vista Street. And today we found another small AP perk — a FREE magnet.
The theme parks at Disneyland Resort have been closed since March of 2020. Some analysts previously predicted that Disneyland’s theme parks wouldn’t reopen until the summer of this year.

But, with the stay-at-home order still in place in Southern California (where Disneyland is located), when exactly Disneyland’s theme parks will be able to reopen is unclear. Due to continued uncertainty and expected restrictions for reopening Disneyland, Disney recently announced that they will be sunsetting their current Annual Passport program. Some Annual Passport holders are set to receive refunds due to this cancellation, but how much of a refund will they get and who is eligible? The information Disney has shared is VERY complicated.
