has long been one of our favorite spots to check out rotating cupcakes. Located at the BoardWalk Inn and Villas, this counter service location is conveniently located for an afternoon break from both Epcot and Hollywood Studios (and it’s near Ample Hills Creamery, which we love!)
Another NEW Mermaid Cupcake is Making a Splash in Disney World!
You may recall the absolutely awesome Mermaid Cupcake that arrived at Magic Kingdom’s Main Street Bakery just a couple weeks ago. If not, you really should check it out here. Because it will give you some reference for our comparison to ANOTHER brand new Mermaid Cupcake that you can currently find on Disney World’s BoardWalk at the BoardWalk Bakery…
Is this thing gorgeous or what?!? It’s even more sparkly than the Main Street Bakery Mermaid Cupcake, thanks to the addition of iridescent colors on the white chocolate mermaid tail and surrounding chocolate shells. [Read more…]

The Milkshake of the Month at The Plaza Restaurant is a Strawberry and Chocolate Milkshake topped with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, a strawberry and chocolate shavings. (P.S. It’s BOTTOMLESS!!)
And if your idea of romance is inspired by Pecos Bill and Slue-Foot Sue, then mosey over yonder into Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe and order up some hand-dipped white and dark chocolate strawberries.
Disney Food Challenge: Can You Eat ALL 14 Of Disney’s BEST Cupcakes?!

Every. Single. Rose Gold Snack. in Disney World
If you’ve been keeping up with the DFB, or if you’ve been anywhere near Disney World recently, then you are well aware that Rose Gold is taking over the entire place. Like most things around here, “it was all started by a mouse.” Minnie Mouse, in this case!
Always one to be on top of the trends, her Rose Gold Minnie Ears have been the hottest item that can’t even be found in the merchandise shops anymore due to their immense popularity!
And now, treats galore in the Instagram-worthy hue are likewise springing up all over! Let’s take a ‘round the World tour so you can find your own Rose Gold Cupcake… or Rose Gold Margarita (?!?) in Disney World. Yep, read on…
Rose Gold Cupcakes in the Parks
DFB itself broke the news on the nutella-with-vanilla Rose Gold Ears Cupcake at Sunshine Seasons in Epcot, and you can check out our review here!
The 2017 Gingerbread Display at Disney World’s BoardWalk Inn
We’ve been checking out ALL THE GINGERBREAD Displays in Disney World from the Grand Floridian Gingerbread House to the Beach Club’s Gingerbread Carousel. Today, we’re at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, and we arrived not knowing exactly what to expect.
You see, the BoardWalk’s Gingerbread Display has varied over the years. You may recall the Sweet Shoppe theme or the days-of-yore Gazebo, or even the year that Stitch took over. Last year, the BoardWalk gave the Resort’s Pastry Chefs the opportunity to create several individual gingerbread houses themed to their choosing.
But for 2017, the whole team is back in action together, and they’ve created a brand new display themed after something very near and dear to our hearts… the BoardWalk’s restaurants!
Review: Seasonal Raspberry Rose Cupcake at the BoardWalk Bakery in Disney World
If you follow DFB on social media (I pretty much live on Instagram, and we’ve got a great group of Facebook and twitter friends, too!), you may already recognize this ab-so-lute-ly gorgeous vision I’m about to show you.
And this time, the Raspberry Rose Cupcake is ready for its closeup with a full review!
This seasonal beauty comes to us on behalf of the BoardWalk Bakery. You’ll typically find three cupcakes up for grabs inside what happens to be one of my favorite bakery cases in all of Disney World. Two of those cupcakes are the classics that tend to stick around (even though they’ve had makeovers of their own over the years): the Mickey Oreo Cupcake and the Strawberry Cupcake.
That third cupcake, though, changes up with some frequency, so I’m always sure to check out the seasonal selection, and I’m sure you can tell why this one caught my eye immediately.
It’s as pretty as a rose because… well, it’s a rose! But is has this advantage over the original: it’s a rose that’s also a cupcake.
