A brand NEW restaurant is coming to Disney World in 2023, and we’ve got a big update on it right here!
Disney’s BoardWalk has been undergoing a bunch of changes and more are set to take place soon. BoardWalk Deli replaced BoardWalk Bakery, a new coffee shop is now open, the lounge got an updated look, the lobby and rooms are supposed to get refreshed too, and (perhaps most importantly for those who love sweets) the NEW Cake Bake Shop is set to open on the BoardWalk in 2023. We’ve been keeping an eye on the construction progress at that particular spot and now we’ve got an update!

It’s almost time for 2023!
So much has bee announced lately from the opening timeline for TRON Lightcycle Run to the closing date for Splash Mountain to the return of character dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table. While we’re super excited about everything heading our way, you know our passion lies with Disney food so let’s recap all of the new restaurants opening in 2023.

Our sweet tooths are back with a vengeance after the announcement of a new Disney World restaurant, The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers.
Promising both sweet and savory options, this new spot is scheduled to open in 2023 at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. We cannot WAIT to sample all of the goodies. And while it isn’t fully open yet, we just got some more details on this highly-anticipated location!
