Earlier this month, Southern California’s stay-at-home order was lifted, allowing eating and drinking to return to Downtown Disney. Since then, various dining locations throughout the shopping district as well as Buena Vista Street have reopened, although we’ve been waiting for a few more spots to trickle in!
Starting this week, guests can once again get their favorite caffeine fix while visiting Downtown Disney!
We’re nearing a year since Disneyland closed down due to the global pandemic.
Although Downtown Disney and Disney California Adventure’s Buena Vista Street are open to guests for shopping and dining, it’s been a long time since anyone has had the full experience of the Disneyland Resort theme parks. Welcome back to Downtown Disney, where some commotion has been happening in recent weeks! Since Southern California’s stay-at-home order was lifted, dining has returned, and soon there will be a ticketed event INSIDE California Adventure!!

Many are eagerly anticipating the opening of Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure in Disneyland Resort.
The new land, originally anticipated to debut in summer 2020, was to open in two phases. The completed area would have two new attractions, three new dining locations, character encounters, and more. Due to the parks’ closure in spring 2020, the project was delayed.
