Happy October! After MONTHS of preparing and waiting for the 50th Anniversary Celebration this month, it’s finally here! So much has changed in Disney World since the beginning of the year; it would take a novel to break down all the changes and announcements since January.

In a galaxy not far, far away, people will soon be able to “board” the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser (aka the Star Wars hotel) for a 2-night immersive Star Wars experience in Disney World.

Disney is still releasing information about what’s included in this 2-night itinerary, which carries a hefty price tag, and you’ll probably want to know about one Galaxy’s Edge spot that is NOT included in the price of a Star Wars hotel reservation. It’s finally here! The 50th Anniversary is today! From a new character cavalcade to nighttime entertainment to food to EVERYTHING ELSE, it’s been a busy day at Disney World.

Now, it’s time to see the debut of the Beacons of Magic, the new 50th Anniversary EARidescent makeovers for the park icons!
Lately, Disney World has been turning all their treats EARidescent in celebration of their 50th Anniversary.

In fact, there are going to be more than 150 new treats and snacks around the Disney World parks in honor of the occasion! Not all of them can be winners, but we’re pretty sure this new treat in Disney’s Hollywood Studios won’t disappoint anyone.

To many people, it is just another day, but to Disney fans it is one of the most important days! Disney World is officially 50 years old and Disney is celebrating big with TONS of new food, new shows, new decor, and so much more. We’ve been checking out a lot of the eats around the theme parks and resorts, but now we’re trying a sweet treat from Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

In honor of the 50th Anniversary, there are new fireworks shows, restaurants, a new ride, and new merchandise. Plus, there are more than 150 new snacks and treats around the parks, and we’re about to try another one!

There are lots of new things to enjoy as part of The World’s Most Magical Celebration, including new fireworks shows, new merchandise, new statues, a new cavalcade, and much more! But, you can’t forget about those new snacks! Over 100 new food and drink items will be coming to Disney World as part of the 50th Anniversary (stretchy pants WILL be necessary). Today, we made our way over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to try one of the shimmery new treats!
