Disney’s Fastpass+ service is no longer in place, but there’s a NEW Fastpass+ replacement coming soon to Disney World called Disney Genie+. If you miss strolling through the Fastpass line to board your favorite attraction, you might be interested in paying for Disney Genie+, which will give guests access to over 40 attractions in Disney World.
As we wait for Disney Genie to take over, we’ve been keeping our eyes out for new Lightning Lane signage around the parks. We put together a handy little list of ALL the Disney attractions that will use Lightning Lanes (AKA the old Fastpass lane).
The new Star Wars hotel, located right in Hollywood Studios’ backyard, is shaping up to be Walt Disney World’s most immersive experience ever.
And Disney has been giving us a BUNCH of details over the past several months! We know when it’s going to open (roughly), what some of the food will look like, what the itinerary might include, and got more information about pricing. We’re getting really excite about this galactic adventure, and with all of the information we’ve gotten so far, we wanted to make sure nothing gets left behind! So, we compiled a list of 4 things you forgot were coming to the Star Wars Galatic Starcruiser.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance opened up quite some time ago at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but it remains an incredibly popular ride.
Previously, if you wanted to ride Rise of the Resistance, you needed to sign up for a boarding group (a.k.a. join a virtual queue). Getting a boarding group was a task that could be incredibly difficult and which that required VERY speedy fingers. But, recently, Disney changed things and guests can now ride Rise of the Resistance WITHOUT a boarding group. This is a huge change and it could cause some pretty big impacts on your Disney World trip.

After the flurry of information that came out about Disney’s new service, we had a TON of questions! So we’re breaking down some of the most confusing elements in a way that’s easy to understand!

But, if you want to get on this popular attraction right now, you’ll have to try and score a Boarding Group, which can be one of the most difficult things to do in Disney World. We’ve seen boarding group times change, and parts of the process be updated, but now Disney has made a HUGE announcement about the future of Boarding Groups at this ride.
If you’re as obsessed with Disney World as we are, then you are not only WELL aware of the upcoming 50th Anniversary Celebration this year, but you’re orienting your entire calendar around it!
