We recently saw two of our favorite Star Wars characters finally arrive at Galaxy’s Edge, some pretty wild wait times, and reservations are now open for Roundup Rodeo BBQ! New things are happening in the park every week though, so come with us to see what was new in Hollywood Studios this week!
Sometimes, we complain about Disneyland getting all the cool character meet and greets.
Galaxy’s Edge
From Marvel characters like the Avengers and Star Wars characters like Boba Fett, we’ve seen plenty of faces (or helmets!) we’ve been dreaming would come over to Disney World. Those dreams had been just that, but that has officially changed because two NEW characters have been spotted roaming around Disney World!
It’s time to head back to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Reservations just opened up for Rodeo Roundup BBQ coming soon and prices have been released as well. There’s LOTS more that has happened in Hollywood Studios in the past week though — come check it out with us!
If you’re hoping to go on the ever-popular Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance ride in Disney’s Hollywood Studios today, pack your patience.

Rise of the Resistance has a lot of moving parts with complex technical aspects which can cause some complications if things go wrong. It’s not all that unusual to see the ride temporarily close suddenly, but today’s issue doesn’t strictly have to do with a ride closure. It has to do with a ridiculously long wait time.
We’ve been watching the progress of Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Disney’s Hollywood Studios for quite a while now.

Grab those western hats and bandanas, a NEW rodeo is coming to Disney World — well, a rodeo-themed restaurant that is! 😉

Roundup Rodeo BBQ will officially open on March 23rd, 2023 in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The NEW table service restaurant will serve BBQ eats family-style in Toy Story Land. We’ve already gotten some big updates about this place like the FULL menus and a peek inside the themed space, but now we have even MORE news.
