It’s the weekend, so it’s time to take a look at the average wait times from the week in Disney World!
Overall, wait times were lower (!!) than we saw last week, but let’s see how things fared across all four parks!
When you’re going to Disney World, especially in this era of social distancing and capacity restrictions, some lines are to be expected. You’re likely going to wait in a line for the buses, you’re likely going to wait in (sometimes long and confusing) lines for stores, restaurants, and attractions, and you may even wait in line for the pool!
But there’s one line you may NOT be thinking about or planning for, and if you stay at certain resorts, not planning for this line could MAKE or BREAK your day!
Disneyland isn’t totally reopened quite yet — that’s coming later this month! — but until then, people who purchased tickets can eat famous Disneyland snacks, see favorite Disney characters (like Mickey!), and take in the sights at A Touch of Disney!
A Touch of Disney has been running for two weeks now, and the ENTIRE event is SOLD OUT.
Disney World has changed a LOT over the past few months.
Due to social distancing policies, lines can stretch SUPER far from a ride’s entrance, and some doors to stores or other places may be designated as exit or entrance-only. Navigating your way around the parks can be more complicated now, and even rather frustrating. But, don’t worry — we’re here to help! We’ve been working on a series of maps to help you get around the parks. We’ve already shared our special, DFB maps for EPCOT, Magic Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. Now, it’s Animal Kingdom’s turn!
Because of health and safety guidelines, lines at Disney World tend to snake all over the parks — occasionally those lines take us to new and unexpected locations!
With social distancing in the parks, lines can get pretty long, and Disney gets creative on where queues for attractions or restaurants can go. We’ve waited backstage for a lumpia at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but also for margaritas at La Cava del Tequila!
Navigating your way around Disney World these days can be a bit more complicated than you might expect! Due to social distancing requirements, Disney might have some doors to its stores blocked and some marked specifically as entrances or exits in a way that you aren’t used to.
You might also find the lines for some rides to be stretched out pretty far away from the actual entrances. Finding the end of a line or knowing where to look can be really tough and frustrating! So, we made the maps that Disney won’t! Here at DFB we’ve been working on a series of maps to help you navigate the parks right now and make your next trip SO much easier! We’ve already developed these maps for EPCOT and Magic Kingdom, and today we’re sharing our map of Disney’s Hollywood Studios with you!
Hello, everyone! We’re back at Disney World with more updates!
And we just spent some time at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, checking out some new food, new merchandise, and seeing what was going on in the park since we were there last. So are you ready for some updates? Because here we go!
Disney’s World social distancing and health measures tend to change fairly regularly.
We’ve kept you in the loop on changes to the face mask policy and clarifications about vaccinated guests. Recently, we also noticed that a new social distancing measure had been implemented — but now, it’s already been removed.

Disney is constantly adjusting its safety policies and procedures.
Recently, it updated its mask guidelines and specified that guests who received the COVID-19 vaccine will still need to wear a face covering on property. But we recently noticed an important change in the parks that could impact how you social distance.
We’re almost a year out from when Disney first closed the theme parks in March of 2020, and there are still a lot of health measures in place.
During your Disney day, you’ll see mask mandates, temperature checks, and social distancing. Now, Disney has added a new update to their existing social distancing policy that specifically speaks to larger groups.
