Happily Ever After
You may remember that Disney shared at the D23 Expo that Happily Ever After would be making its return to Magic Kingdom in 2023. Well, now, we know when.
There is a LOT going on Magic Kingdom right now. The holiday decorations have arrived, the Christmas tree is up, and we spotted some celebrities filming for a holiday special earlier today!

Now, though, it looks like there’s going to be a little more excitement. Disney World has announced that it will be launching fireworks LATE at Magic Kingdom over the next few days.

Disney Enchantment
Disney Enchantment is Magic Kingdom’s regularly scheduled fireworks show (it’s not offered on nights when Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes place, as a special Halloween-themed show is offered those nights). Previously, Enchantment was offered at 9:20PM. That then changed to 9PM. And now fireworks times are changing AGAIN.
We’ve been getting into the Halloween spirit lately with all kinds of news from Disney about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which is finally returning this year! We’ve seen the pricing and dates for the party, checked out all the eats and treats coming to Magic Kingdom for the event, and even started planning out our costumes. But now we’ve got ANOTHER update!
Disney’s Not-so-Spooky Spectacular | 2019
Part of the Halloween Party is a big fireworks show after dark called Mickey’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular. MagicBand+ has officially debuted in Disney World and we’re testing out everything the new features have to offer!

Between the Fab 50 Character Statues, Batuu Bounty Hunters, and more — MagicBand+ promises interaction like we’ve never seen with MagicBands before. We had the chance to test out some of the new features in person after we snagged one of the accidentally released bands, but now that MagicBand+ has officially debuted there’s even more to explore. So, it’s time to take a look at how MagicBand+ interacts with Enchantment — the Magic Kingdom fireworks show!

Enchantment at the Magic Kingdom
Disney Enchantment, the Magic Kingdom’s fireworks debuted in October in celebration of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, replacing the previous show, Happily Ever After. Since then, the show has happened once per night (though the time varies depending on the park hours), but for a limited time, it looks like that is changing!
