For almost a year, this restaurant at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has been closed for an extensive refurbishment. As of April 1st, it’s officially re-opened with a menu makeover. We snagged a reservation for opening night, so come see what we thought about how it has changed!

We’re seeing lots of new treats this time of year to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and Women’s History Month, and we’ve tried a whole bunch of those eats. We also just got the news that a restaurant in Disney Springs is getting some NEW menu items for this month!

We’ve seen Gideon’s Bakehouse come out with all kinds of limited-time snacks, merchandise, and more that’ll tempt you to go back time and time again. But, for the month of October, you’ll really want to go back to Gideon’s often for one specific reason.
There are a lot of incredible dining spots in Disney Springs, but Wine Bar George is one of our favorites!

Wine Bar George is known for having over 130 different wine options, along with a delicious selection of small and shareable plates, and you can stop by the restaurant to eat lunch or dinner on weekdays and brunch on weekends. And we have good news — there are three NEW menu additions to try!
Sometimes our favorite snacks disappear from the menus in Disney World and there’s nothing we can do about it.
We miss you, Kakamora Float
This has happened to us with the Citrus Swirl, the Kakamora Float, the Monte Cristo Sandwich, and more. It can be due to supply issues or for reasons unknown, but it’s definitely a sad day when snacks that we love aren’t around anymore. However, that just makes it SO MUCH SWEETER when they return — and one of our favorite desserts has shown up again in Disney World!

Oven-Roasted Shrimp Scampi
SO much happened in May: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has officially opened in EPCOT. We had a ton of announcements come in from Star Wars Celebration. While all that was going on, we also kept an eye on every menu at Disney World restaurants so we could keep you updated on any changes.
