October was QUITE the month at Disney World. So much happened!

In the past month alone, THREE new restaurants opened (Steakhouse 71, Space 220, and La Crêperie de Paris), the 50th anniversary snacks arrived, AND we were still seeing some Halloween snacks getting introduced. So we’ve got quite a few menu updates to share with you from October.
Well, it’s been a busy week at Disney World, hasn’t it? The 50th Anniversary Celebration has officially kicked off!

Is it just us or was September the longest month ever?

Maybe it’s because we just couldn’t wait for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration to kick-off so that we could eat all the new foods in the parks. We also had a TON of restaurant menu changes, reopenings, and more!
We are getting SO close to the first day of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, so you can imagine how busy things are at the parks right now!
We’ve been to Space 220!
Most recently, we’ve attended the opening of the highly-anticipated Space 220 Restaurant, tried an ice cream margarita, and had a spicy hot dog. And although we’ve seen a LOT of menu changes and updates over the past month, we’ve still got more to share with you this week.
It’s hard to believe that after all this time, we’re finally eating at Space 220!

It’s been 84 years (actually more like 4 years) since Space 220 was announced (we first heard about it back in 2017), and after many setbacks and delays, it’s FINALLY here. Today we got the chance to travel 220 miles above the Earth to eat in SPACE. Is this spot worth the wait (both in the amount of years we’ve waited AND the long line you might need to wait in to eat here)? Let’s find out.

Great news! A brand-new restaurant is opening on October 1st at Disney’s Contemporary Resort — Steakhouse 71. The new spot offers a fresh look to the location formerly home to The Wave, and the menu is filled with what are sure to be some delicious options. And now, we’ve got the restaurant’s pricing!
